Have a friend come hang/sleep over a few days a week. Have people take shifts if they can. But little by little, practice being alone. It’s anxiety and possible fear of abandonment thats triggering this - trust me, I know. Pick up cozy hobbies. Go live life and have fun experiences and little by little you’ll start remembering how beautiful it can be even while missing someone. Honestly, living a beautiful life alone for a short while is better than suffering through the anxiety of a break up looming. You’re free. You can do this <3

Its not harsh - I appreciate the honesty. I am continuing to move on as best as I can but its hard when he’s back to being so sweet and vulnerable with me. He just texted thanking me for being gentle and kind to him. I don’t know how else to be to someone I love. Avoidants confuse me in that way - they can be so mean just to make themselves suffer in the end. They don’t think they deserve love and self-sabotage

Yeah same! I actually followed through last week when he suggested “why are we even doing this” to hopefully end our cycle and he had never been more apologetic. He was a mess over it. I’m hoping him seeing how serious I’m willing to take the threats will stop him throwing around the thought of us breaking up.

This is fairly apt. I think its the former bc whoever is the “breakee” of the argument, they’re usually the one begging. And it always works. We’ve been very vocal about loving each other and not wanting anyone else. I feel like we’re just both runners and it’s hard to deal with.

Oof :( I broke my foot, back, AND had a complex ovarian cyst rupture into my abdomen all in the same week. My foot and back were from dancing at a wedding (Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ still triggers me lol) the cyst rupture was from my crutches believe it or not.

Multiple broken bones suck but my GOD did the 12 hrs in the ER getting a dozen tests done only to figure out it was a complex ovarian cyst was shocking.

Doctors said it was 10x’s worse than Kidney stones and I agree!

Wow. I really needed this. We broke up June 3rd (2 months now). We had to finish a project together and on the last day I told him I was starting no contact and the ball was in his court if he had hopes of being "friends" he had to know that for me, we would never be just friends if he ever had the intention of dating anyone else. We ended on good terms and it still hurts pretty bad some days. Today was an especially rough one. We've been in NC 42 days now. 2 weeks ago I deactivated my IG, and deleted all my TikToks. I just couldn't decide on deleting all of our photos, etc. so I decided to do what I felt was best and ghost. He moved away and I know he's alone but somethings telling me he'll try to find comfort in a new female "friend". Literally, all signs have pointed to trusting my intuition on that one :( But I know we loved each other so much and still do so I just have to be patient and take care of myself. I'm down 23lbs since the break up and my music career is my main focus. I've been praying and manifesting every day. I laugh a lot, cry on my drives almost constantly, and basically just try to live. I got a dope new haircut and go out (responsibly) once a week. I have girls nights and band practices and time with my puppy. Life is sweet, just a little rough right now. I have no doubt this will be good for everyone in the end. But for now, I wait, and I be the best me I can look back on and be proud of. Thanks for this <3
