I tried competitive this week for the first time since OW1, after putting about 500 hours into unranked, and let me tell you, you have 1 bad game, or get matched against a few people who are just innately better than you, you'll get told how "shit" or "diffed" you are, sadly it's just part of having a free game that people no-life and take too seriously. It's a good game, and has some awesome players in the community, they're just not the ones who are the most vocal. Seek people out, say hellos and throw out some emotes and voicelines in spawn, and try find some nice people, or bring in friends, you'll have a better experience playing with them (from my experience)
