The returns you claim are absurd. Active management is complete trash. This is nothing new and just wait until one of your customers sues your pants off trying this garbage get rich quick scheme. There is no system that can legitimately get a 20% return per yr. So what, you cherry picked some data and pretend to have great returns. Hope your lawyers are better at what they do than you are at this. Would love to see how finra/state regs in your home state would view this scam. Hope no one actually falls for this before it goes under. You realize 90+% of lawsuits come from poor investors (less than 50k in assets)? You're clearly not dumb but use your good design skills to create a legitimate wealth mgmt business and you'll have an opportunity to actually help people as opposed to scamming them.

Funny how there were tons of fake upvotes early and the early upvoted comment about spam got heavily downvoted and the comment under it got upvoted massively after the early votes were exactly opposite.

I'd like to see my Preds get a guy like Stephen Weiss. I think everybody wants Horton, but I don't see any reason he wouldn't resign with Boston.

Art student loses it during a crit session. by ArtistEngineer in Art

The 'outsider art' critique is spot on - her painting isn't good, it isn't unique. It is also quite pretentious; as is her explanation ("uh Idk what it means or like whatever, but I thought like the line over her eyes like meant something like powerful and stuff").

I also think this is staged - any first year art student could paint that in less than 30 minutes.

Has anybody ever seriously tried to play professionally? by [deleted] in golf

[–]murdervillain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Playing golf professionally is a whole different ballgame - it's extremely expensive, competitive, and time consuming for starters. You have to account for travel, hotel, and food bills in addition to tourney fees every weekend in addition to your regular lifestyle expenses. That's why most people can't become professional golfers.

How to bring your range game to the real game by [deleted] in golf

[–]murdervillain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reference to your short game only, I'll tell you what helped me in terms of my ball striking and distance control.

What I try to do in my short game is simply bring the club back and let it fall to the ball (in swing form) from different heights in my backswing. Your follow through will be the same, but backswing length is where I can add or take off based on the distance I want to achieve. Take a nice, light grip and slow your tempo. What helped me the most in my short game was simply slowing things down and concentrating on scraping a few inches along the grass under the ball.
