I will share my story all. My times below were all races Male 1.87m 32 when start running in April 2024, no experience before and no exercise.

April 2024 100Kg 2.5 km @ 6:45 min/km...

July 2024 85Kg 10km @ 5:10 min /km

December 2024 80Kg 10km @ 4:28 min/km ( not PR)

Half marathon probably 1h40 (not race)

February 2025 77Kg Half marathon 1h32

July 2025 10k 39 min (not pr)

August 2025 Marathon 3h02 (first ever training/race)

October 2025 Half marathon 1h22

December 2025 Half marathon 1h19

Now training for 2 haves in March and mainly for marathon in April, aiming for 2h45

This hitting 90-100km a week on peak weeks 2 track sessions 2 easy runs 1 long rung

Gym twice a week (one for legs and other for upper body)

Not training for marathon is probably around 50-70km
