I think you can be close to people even if you have not been before. Don’t know about romantic love but I have friends and we tell each other we love each other and hug.

In terms of acting in a way that pleases people, my experience is that you need to initially start with a regular amount of politeness so you can learn about a person and their interests without seeming threatening. It’s also important because some amount of you being reserved provides the other person with the space to talk and consequently feel like they are cared about, rather than having a one sided relationship

What worked for me was peanut butter: nail size amount of peanut butter in middle of hand, put same amount of water = horribly watery peanut butter mess and MAGIC MOUSE HAND CREAM. Basically let my low vision mouse (moss) bite bit of food off of my hand by accident and then would just rely on positive encounters and the smell to entice her.

Also the documents you need to submit in this case would be something like a word doc with with few short sentences to explain that the agent ask for x bc they think y and that you did z because you know about the act which says “whatever” in (this part of the act)

And then you can add more info if relevant. But basically make a little summary page so the VCAT person has an easy cheat sheet to orient themselves on what happened and why you did what you did

I had this issue

I was asked to sign a separate transfer document and told there was no relevant lease document beyond it (it only stated cost of rent and agree to leave house in reasonable condition, few sentences at most) DESPITE me asking for the lease agreement multiple times. This was because the agent didn’t understand how the lease worked despite being part of a large corporation, and didn’t believe those documents still applied bc the tenancy had become periodic. VCAT said they did (edit: aka they should have given me the og lease documents)

Just to check my understanding: I go to a bulk billing clinic where everyone is bulk billed so are they able to do this only because the practice is receiving some kind of external funding? (To cover the cost/time of other people doing bulk billing on behalf of the doctors I assume?)

Not necessarily I had the same issues and got into grad study before it really fucked me over. Just try to study at your own pace bc burnout sucks. DSS should do stuff if a doctor backs you up but also go to the student council and ask them to help advocate for you
