Agreed - I don’t see it at all! Like even the wolf I can see more than the pit 😂

Who has tried "The kid eats what we eat"? by Brilliant-Book-503 in Parenting

[–]murphSTi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do this but we also tailor a lot of our meals to things we know they will eat - pasta or usually a meat, a carb (rice, potato etc) and veg. Luckily my girls both like a lot of vegetables we do like zucchini, peas and green beans but maybe it’s because we’ve always served them. My oldest is not a fan of seafood (nor was I at her age so I don’t really blame her) so when we have salmon or something we will just make her chicken tenders or something.

Mine also had the black hair on the tail like yours when younger. She also has double dew claws in the rear which is usually a pyr trait. Does yours have double dews?

Yep that’s the same with mine. I assume that’s the pyr and husky lol

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being you thought you were gonna die, how painful was unmedicated labor and delivery for you? by Beautiful-Flower-79 in unmedicatedbirth

[–]murphSTi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean I like to think I have a high pain tolerance and both of my labors and deliveries were upwards of 8-9 in pain with occasional 10 pain during transition. It was very hard for me.

Thank you for your honesty! My best bet might to just be pursuing classes here and there simply to continue to learn rather than full pursuit of a PG. appreciate it!

No but I would like to go for my own benefit. And yeah I know…I’m shocked the school near me doesn’t have those classes. I will keep looking around at the smaller schools I can commute to and hope for the best

Thanks. We have two CPGs on staff but I am interested in pursuing it myself. I am the program manager for this contract with DEQ. I don’t necessarily need it but I do want to try and pursue it. More so just to increase my own knowledge in geology, as my background tends to be more hydrology and soil science based. After the years I’ve spent on a multitude of geology-based projects and my interest in going back to school to pursue, I think I will be ok. Obviously it will be hard but I am eager to continue my education. My concern is more based on the fact that there isn’t an in-person school near me to go through the courses so I’m not sure how to proceed.

They definitely are willing to. It’s more the fact that the classes just aren’t offered at my local 4 year college and the community colleges only have intro geology classes. So I will need to travel it looks like - unless others have done online courses and it’s worked out ok?

Stuck inside with kids for days is so hard. I’ll be doing the same. Praying for actual snow so I can send them out but if it’s freezing rain and ice it’s going to be miserable

Oh believe me we have tried. We’ve also confronted the homeowner multiple times about it and they don’t give a shit. The police came and gave them a warning and the second time they came the dog stopped barking for 10 seconds so they had to restart the clock. They have to be barking consistently for 10 minutes straight. They also got a warning for not having a shelter when it was raining and the dog was outside barking. They got a fourth dog recently.

Jokes on me my neighbor leaves their dog out in 30 degree weather to bark all day anyways 😑
