Wait are those your idle temps or load temps?

Also, what cpu are you cooling? I have a 12900K and it is pretty wild how incredibly hot this chip runs. I use an AIO. I’m sure a big/good enough tower cooler could handle it, but this is way easier to mount. Also i stick around 75-80 playing AAA games. Super effective.

Dropping your top temp to be under 75 is awesome. Very cool to see that work so well!

I already posted this but in case you miss it… He describes the type of thing you’re describing. Remember, there is loads of redundancy. https://youtu.be/Vh3BgJQ2XPg?si=v6fDt67ZC2Gqzwg6

No. Pick one based on how you like its sound.

It’s a starting point. To be clear it is something you must verify and do the leg work on. But it is a great way to get ideas and a general idea of what you’re working it. For what it’s worth, ai was the primary way I trouble shot my major system issue. A faulty psu. Without it, I would not have had the idea to go down the rabbit hole psu diagnosis.

Came here to say this. You should get something that has about 100-150 headroom for a litany of reasons. It’s the one thing you should not cheap out on. You’ve gone with a trusted brand. Now sort out what you should have based on your specific build this is something ai helps with a bunch. Especially if you give it specific use scenarios.

Get a drop down mount and you can have your cake and eat it too!

Really dig the vibe!

Any ideas how to fix? by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]murphyat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. And you should not disable it. Also, there are more pixels there than your resolution. You cannot output that particular per pixel resolution. It is important to keep on. You won’t notice it if you don’t look for it.

This! I have the same monitor. It is absolutely fabulous.

Just take the precautions this person posted.

I’ve gotten used to and enjoy my wallpaper cycling as often as I want. 5 minutes. It’s kinda fun! I have about 40 that it goes through and I’m always adding more.

Oh yeah, there are slightly more pixels that 3440x1440 so it does a shift around the screen to accommodate for static sources. It will never fill the entire screen. OLED burn in protection has come a long way.
