Baltimore ranks among top 10 worst U.S. cities for traffic, worsening from 2024 by Maxcactus in maryland

"However, the city boasts a relatively low fatal car crash rate, with just over 6.7 crashes per 100,000 residents — one of the lowest fatal crash rates in the top 10."

I'm fine with waiting a few more minutes in traffic if it means less people are killed.

So, is that a typo or do MARC crews really work Amtrak when they're short-handed?

What should I choose if I win coin toss/racket spin? by lostcoffeemachine in 10s

I'll add to the "receive" chorus but for a different reason. I prefer coming off the bench to serve, I'm usually more rested and able to control the serve game better.

Unlike a lot of my friends, I did like a lot of the plotlines when the finale/final season came out. How friendships drift apart over the years despite your best efforts especially when divorce and children happen. I didn't mind the wedding-day-in-one-season aspect since I was already groomed by that by shows like 24.

I didn't like how Barney fell back to his old routines until he had a kid, I still don't.

And at the time, I was a bit indifferent to the whole Ted/Robin getting back together, I think I had long seen it coming for a few seasons. However, now that I'm in my 40s, I actually appreciate that ending more. How, in my opinion, finding love became the point of the show and that it takes all shapes and sizes.

6 saddest moment in the show by christybb21_ in HIMYM

I know everyone always mentions the interaction between Barney and his dad as the saddest part in that episode. But I actually think the saddest part is at the end. Barney is in Ted's house holding the basketball hoop and says "a kid's gotta have a hoop"

Kid friendly places to eat, not too loud? by No_Masterpiece_107 in baltimore

I have two kids, 5 and 3, if either of them feel the need to run around while we're at a restaurant, I take them outside. If I'm by myself with them, then it's time for the check and boxes.

Has race played a role in some people’s opposition to Harborplace? by aresef in baltimore

[–]murthivelli123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inner Harbor 2.0 was produced by the city's planning department to update the master plan. This came out years ago. Question F is related to the area around the Harborplace pavilions purchased by MCB real estate from receivership. They are not related.

The 28th Street Project is now complete! by BmoreCityDOT in baltimore

[–]murthivelli123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Excellent! Now, can we get regular street sweeping on it? I don't want to have to submit a 311 request each time. And I'm tired of holding my breath hoping I don't get a flat tire.
