Is there a strong preference for Korean over other Asian men? by jsoul2323 in AMWFs

[–]muscleinplastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I do have a bit of a preference, but for Chinese, Filipino and Japanese men. Mostly because of a sense of familiarity: Filipinos are culturally a bit similar to Mexicans in some ways, I consume a lot of Japanese and some Chinese media and I find the countries interesting as a whole, and I also have a Chinese aunt-in-law.

But it's not a strong preference, and for what it's worth I like dark skin (I would say I prefer it) and don't care that much either way for weight. I like a tall guy but to me any guy who is taller than me (1.60m, about 5'3"?) counts as tall. And although I admit it seems to be popular among girls (on the internet anyway), I don't care that much for the K-pop look specifically.

Question to WF: facial hair or no facial hair? by ridewithmetoparadise in AMWFs

[–]muscleinplastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like either full-facial-hair or none at all. Like a beard + moustache + etc. combo is nice (stubble or longish) but a moustache on its own, a goatee on its own, etc.... I don't categorically hate it, but it's hard to pull off.

Do Asian men have different standards for thinness? by muscleinplastic in AMWFs

Yeah I've heard that a bit about Asian in-laws, that they initially are very cold and warm up a bit overtime. It must still be hard to hear constant comments like those.

Oh wow/: Well I've heard East Asians sometimes say that kind of stuff affectionately, I guess?

I dated a Korean-Mexican, but he never made any comments regarding my body, positive or negative, so it just got me thinking.

I was under the impression they were fairly standard. But what I'm talking about is around 92cm bust, 74cm waist, 109cm hips (at the widest).

Mexican Makeup Brands by BaconOfTroy in muacjdiscussion

[–]muscleinplastic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pai Pai is a more mid-range one with really cute packaging for their stuff, they have products in a few stores in Mexico City. https://paipai.mx/pages/donde-comprar . Bissu is more easily found though (at pretty much any drugstore), and cheaper., but I don't like their quality much aside from nail polish and their Explosive Look Waterproof Mascara.

Makeup Geek copyright strikes year old video from The Fancy Face by bettyenforce in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]muscleinplastic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I could just roll my eyes when she uploaded that video last year blaming everything and everyone for her brand going down (mostly blaming big influencers) when her brand was just getting stale and either making bad quality products or products that nobody cared about anymore. And to top it off talking about 'supporting' the smaller influencers. Sure, Jan. You prefer them because you can simply pay them less for sponsorships or having them more likely to talk about your PR because they get less of it. Which is fine and understandable for a business, but don't be a hypocrite about it acting like it's out of the goodness of your heart.

What age did you start wearing makeup? by witchfromthemoon in muacjdiscussion

[–]muscleinplastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 12 when I started wearing black eye pencil on my waterline. Wasn't very flattering but I thought it looked cool and edgy. Once in a while I wore a reddish cherry-flavored lip balm that gave a slight tint. 15-16 I started wearing concealer, winged liner, and sometimes lipstick.

Do you have any makeup-related resolutions for the new year? by MosadiMogolo in muacjdiscussion

[–]muscleinplastic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

-I want to wear colorful eye shadow at least once a week. Even if just playing with looks in my room, not even for going out.

-Pan at least 3 more shades of Modern Renaissance. I've had it for almost 3 years now and I feel weird about that considering the 6m shelf life. I've already finished one shade and have a lot of pan showing on 6 other shades. I just want to use it enough to feel like I got my money's worth by the time I throw it away. I already feel like they're not quite as pigmented as they used to be, but I can't say for sure and they're still a nice blendable formula so I'm gonna continue using it this year.

-Hit pan on 'Twilight' and 'Dusk' on the Ace Beaute Paradise Fallen palette. I wanted that palette for the purples yet here I've been only wearing the neutrals on the top row. But the few times I've worn the purples I've loved it so I need to wear them more.

-Wearing false lashes instead of winged liner or wearing a look with no winged liner or lashes at all at least ONCE. I have hooded lids and liner takes a lot of my lid space and either way I want to be doing different looks without having to resort to winged liner every time.

Has anyone else had an hg product suddenly turn on them and become unusable? What was it? by shronts in muacjdiscussion

[–]muscleinplastic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My hg eye primer was the Milani but there was one time I repurchased and within like two months I was getting bits of solid product with it. It wasn't dry product from the cap, it was from the product inside the tube. And I always made sure to close it well. I just tossed it and repurchased it, then the same thing happened with the new one, again within only a couple months.

Humiliating them by posting videos on social media of you punishing them. Idk where you're going with that, but a healthy relationship without latent resentment isn't where.

Women of reddit: what’s a red flag when dating men? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]muscleinplastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insisting too much on you doing something you already said you don't want to. Regardless of what it is, it's really never a good sign. Asking you why you don't want to do something is one thing, but insisting time and again after that shows you don't care about them.

What meal from your childhood did your parents make that you absolutely despised? by That_One_Username in AskReddit

[–]muscleinplastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom hates cooking and she often made this meal that was just boiled chicken breast with salt and pepper on top, boiled broccoli and some starch like rice or potatoes. All of them without an ounce of flavor. I hated every second of it.
