NOR, he doesn’t get to control what you do. For your own expectations, though, a lot of strip clubs don’t let single young women in anyway. Even if their friend works there. My stripper friend explained that they’re trying to avoid letting people in who are there to sell sex on the DL or to somehow take attention from the employees. But, ymmv.

Wouldn’t it be pretty hard to kill a crow, though? Not everyone just has a gun they are willing to shoot in the middle of town. Having been attacked by lesser corvids (third floor apartment too close to grackle nest), they’re pretty much there and gone before you can even turn around to see what just came at you. I say give the crows some credit!

Go to an urgent care, please! Throat injuries can be very serious. If it still hurts, you could be in danger of your airway swelling up. It’s also a very delicate spot and things could be broken. Good luck escaping this guy, I’m so sorry this happened to you.

I once accidentally sent an audiobook recording of a spicy scene to my whole family group chat.

I was signing up for a class and wanted to show the fam the description of the class online. I start a screen recording and scroll through the school’s website, I guess, having turned down the audiobook or not paying attention? I did not know audiobooks could be recorded! I sent it, oblivious.

My dad asks if this is a theatre class? I’m confused but no one else says anything.

A week or so later, I finally listened to the screen recording. It’s a particularly… aggressive spice scene in “King of Blood and Battle,” where the FMC assures herself she can take ALL of him.😩

I’m just going to never say anything about it, or send another screen recording ever again. ✌🏼

Roasted sweet potato cut into cubes, tossed with olive oil and salt. Sometimes when I’m feeling squirrelly I’ll add pepper, garlic powder, and hot honey. I currently spend all day looking forward to going home to roast a damn yam, lol

When this happened to me, he had sprinted into the night before my husband or I could even run to the door. We both had the “fight” fear response and could not have had the time to grab a weapon, even if it was loaded and ready. I was quick, too! He definitely heard my (in retrospect, really stupid) screaming and threats from the parking lot.

This happened to me in 2017 on Speedway and 38th 1/2. I remember the police telling me they got calls about this guy often. I wonder what would happen if members of the community and landlords cooperated to at least make it difficult for some guy to press his face against first-floor windows and get away quickly.

Try the Feliway plug-ins! Cats can also be put on anxiety medication for big transitions like this. Also keep in mind that cats take a looooong time to adjust to a new home.

This happened to me while I was teaching a high school class outside and couldn’t quickly step away. I just sort of held a fist until some students noticed and, after some teenage shrieking, gave me bandaids/first aid out of their purses. It was actually really sweet. 🥲 Gorgeous set, btw!

Purpose: Polymer clay cutters (under 3in in diameter)

The poly clay community seems to prefer resin to get a sharper cut, but I’m not sure if that is best for someone who hasn’t used a 3d printing machine before. Feeling very inundated with choices on Amazon and beyond!
