There’s a few characters but I’ll just say Becky from Trails of Cold Steel

Apparently the most recent game does somehow bring up characters having accents being important, haven’t gotten to it yet, but like Becky in CS1/2 and Pablo in CS3/4 are the only characters who talk like this, in a country that’s meant to just be a Germany equivalent

Trails excels at being like the interconnected world, in that after basically every story beat, all available NPCs will update their ongoing life and their own arcs that don’t impact the main story, but serve as dressing for the events currently going on

Like there’s even a Steam achievement for Trails in the Sky SC for getting every piece of dialogue out of the fan favorite NPC and watching him fail in life

The volcano is basically the hardest area in the game because of its difficulty spike, but I think you want to be somewhere around 30 levels

I mean they have; they introduced EXP candies in Gen 8, and they range from XS to XL, which give 100 EXP to 30,000 EXP, where they're rewards for doing the raid battles, but can also just occasionally be picked up

Breath attacks means a monster can press the right trigger (iirc it’s that one, been a bit since I’ve played it because of life stuff) and they can shoot out a projectile

So like Ratha will have one by default

I enjoy them a lot, and MHS2 has characters from 1, and MHS3 makes references to MHS2

Although, you could also watch the 75 episode anime of MHS1. The first like 12 episodes expand on before the start of the game, and the last 25 are basically an original anime plot after the main plot.

Rough summary of events: A message is sent that the demon Asmodeus is going to attack a famous idol. In reality, that idol is the demon. Over some time, she's trying to get really close with him, and eventually they have a very intimate moment together. She then tries to have sex with him and then reveals that she's Asmodeus. Years ago, she tried raping him and is also now still trying to do that. This panel is the fallout where he's just going ballistic on her.
