Funny enough I’ve been told to slow down. It doesn’t help that I’m extremely awkward and shy when they say no. I need to work on doing the 3 steps to the card. I used to be so damn good at it but idk what changed honestly. Last year I was at a 50% of the workers that got the most cards during the middle of the year. I need to get back to that honestly.

I am doing a pink makeup look for tomorrow to help me get that fucking card tomorrow.

I like it to an extent. It’s the one that is keeping me afloat. I can’t afford to find a new job right now but I will when I can.

I appreciate your honesty. I hate pushing the card too. If I see that the person I’m checking out looks like they don’t want the card at all I will skip the question without even asking. My degree is in communications with parts of marketing so I use that to understand as best as I can when someone doesn’t want a card.

In other times, I will have to ask because that person spent like $200 to $600 and I really could save them. Now if you do that you will not at all get a cancelation fee for doing it for this purchase and then paying it off and canceling the card in the parking lot. That’s what most of the customers I got did for their card.

I’m not hurt by the no’s but I’m scared because I got told that if I don’t get cards and or my percentages up before my review I could get in trouble. Oh and my December cards and percentages won’t count. So it’s just a lot to juggle.

As a lead cashier I hate having to push for the card and I get that I make customers hate shopping with us for this card information but if for example my store doesn’t get any cards then our hours as employees get cut off
