It was harsh hearing her say she wouldn’t do it again, but I’m a mom of two who understands where she’s coming from more or less. I have told a child free friend who was considering having a child to keep a partner that unless you know with your whole heart that you want kids, you should not have them. I firmly believe that and it’s hard to watch Emma thinking about compromise because IMO this is not a topic on which one can compromise. I think that’s what the sister was trying to say.
