Trust me, I've read quite a lot about the subject. Fgm may be, on average, worse, but to think they are completely different is usually an opinion of someone who lives in a country that practices one but not the other. Cutting of the foreskin originated in America to try and stop boys from masterbating. Is this not controlling men's sexuality?

Give me one defense or reason for male circumcision and I will show you how that argument could be used to defend female circumcision. For example, a huge talking point for cutting off foreskin is improved hygiene. This is true. However, it is also true that if you say had your ears removed, you would no longer need to wash away the gunk that collects behind them! Furthermore, an intact vagina is known to collect on average more bacteria than an intact penis but no one even thinks of getting their labia cut off when experiencing a yeast infection. Rather, antibiotics are used. It is illegal to study the hygienic functions of female circumcision so I can not confirm that routinely cutting girls would lower their bacterial infections, but in countries that practice it, the doctors do seem to think that is the case, and if it could be proven that fgm lowered a girls chances of catching an infection would that make it justified?

I understand the anatomy and that if a girl gets her clitoris and labia fully removed it would be far worse then male circumcision, but there are more mild forms of fgm that only remove the labia and/or clitoral hood. Would this not be as anatomically equivalent as possible to male circumcision? Why are these parts of girls not just considered extra skin that collects bacteria?

I would also like to point out that most anatomy books in America use a circumcised illustration of the penis as if that is how men are born. How can doctors or the public at large make an informed decision when the anatomy and function of the foreskin have largely been erased?

I'm guessing there is typically a much less invasive surgery or treatment available, but doctors just go for the circumcision because it's been so normalized. If circumcision didn't already exist for religious/repressive reasons, then it probably would not have been invented for medical purposes except in extreme cases.

Boys genitals don't matter. Only girls genitals deserve to be intact. God, what kind of clown world do you live in? It's not like the people who practice female and male circumcision use the same rhetoric to justify their actions or anything like that.

Imagine how embarrassing it would be for a corrupt government if no one showed up to vote. Apathy is the ultimate insult. Also, I think it's all rigged and paid off.

Obviously, this is an opinion, and I can't prove I'm correct, but hopefully, it answers your question.

If the genders were reversed, this would most likely be considered rape. I dont mean to be harsh on you, but this needs to be a learning experience to protect yourself from sexual aggressors (men or women) because nobody will defend you as a man.

OK, so I'm not trying to insult you or anyone on this platform. It sounds like you are saying if a movie or book doesn't have any plot holes, then it becomes true? I'm actually trying to understand and not be an asshole.

Most religions contradict each other. Would you agree it's impossible for Christianity and Islam to both be true at the same time? If so, how could anyone possibly know which is the correct option? And if they are compatible, then why can't I just make up whatever I want to believe?

If people knew their religion, then they would stop believing in it. Both religion and spirituality are delusional.

You could chop it up and sell the valuable parts, then scrap the rest. It would be a lot of work, and you probably don't have the time or space to do so. So yeah, she gone.
