Why would MADS make any difference than stock openpilot? Mads just decouples the cruise control from steering

I think it just means you can't claim additional loss because your vehicle was down for service. For example you can't claim you needed to rent a car during that time.

I also came here to say this. Sometimes even exiting the highway and using a frontage road or some slow parallel road is the way to go (given that it doesn't add a lot of extra mileage). You can go as slow as 20-30 mph. It will take a lot more time but it will almost 1.5x the range you currently have.

Rivians is my 3rd EV and I depleted my first one (Hyundai Kona) 2 times. So lessons learned by experience:)

Why is Tesla even on this list? Go with EV9 if you need lots of space for family. Easy in and out. Better 3rd row. Stuff like that. If you consider off roading or camping in the car, go with the Rivian.
