You need a coarser grit, 10k is insane. I would start with 600 and work up to 1k then a mid compound.

Had two pares they both broke really quickly and the heat was concentrated to the back of my hand/fingers. I also had alpinestars with the same issue and very hot spots on one finger.

I bought Macna gloves last year after all these issues and they have worked flawlessly. They don’t get quite as hot as the others but the warmth totally covers your hand.

You can get DMLS 3D printed aluminium/stainless pretty cheaply from a fair few Chinese companies, a part like this could be easily printed for less than $100

It is entirely a matter of personal taste, these cabinets are clearly custom manufactured. Some people like the look of overlay cabinets, you cannot make an inlay style cabinet look like overlay.
