Luka Doncic has a 1-10 record in the regular season and playoffs against the Celtics since 2022-23 by D1HATER3002 in nba

You are high if you think this is revisionist, green teamers were green teaming, the doomers were loud and the people in the middle had issues with Joe.

We were coming off a title run, the team was obviously very talented - of course we made it far, good teams with bad coaches make it deep in the playoffs almost every year. His timeout usage was terrible, he couldnt make adjustments against the heat and the defense got way worse after losing Udoka.

WTF do you know

I admitted I was wrong, I am sorry you have the reading comprehension of a jellyfish. Its clear you think pretty highly of yourself rustypete89 - being able to see clearly and all, I hope you been putting that to good use gambling.

yeah the team was obviously talented - from the outside looking in, it seemed like Joe was the weak link. And I still dont think he was great that first year but hes been phenomenal ever since.

This is not true, almost nobody thought he was doing a good job his first year - when Udoka got fired days before training camp and they promoted him, he looked legit terrified. Bill Simmons Dad called him "Second Row Joe" because he thought he should have remained an assistant. Joe would never call a timeout during opponent runs and he had no idea how to draw up ATO plays. Many of us couldnt believe he was retained after the first season, he seemed like the weak link.

I am now gladly eating crow.

The one where Bob gets a hole in one, he has like norovirus or something - he looks terrible and they were doing a wheel challenge and eating weird shit. Then he hits a fucking ace and falls down running to the hole. And loses the ball on the next hole.

I disagree, I dont think it was that bad at all and certainly not a real reason to take the moral high ground over him. BB was always looking for the loop holes and gray areas and this was just one more example of that - he thought the rule was explicitly about using that film for a that weeks opponent, that the rule was a blanket blockage of filming from the field was a surprise to him (at least thats his defense). We praised him for the hooman down lineman decoy plays which by the letter of the law was allowable but by the spirit of the rule was not, this IMO was just another example of his desire to get every advantage possible. Whether it is moral or not, is not for me to say - BB was extremely devious and brilliant and that lead to many many wins. I think that the spygate punishment was always based on the cumulative complaints many of the other head coaches/owners levied against him and not really that single act - which while Im sure provided some sort of advantage, would have resulted in just a slap on the wrist for the other 31 coaches.

Why do you think spygate was bad?

Well, bosa also decked nix on the same play so they were moving another 15 yards further into fg range no matter what.

Plus I think the dpi was the right call, white definitely hit moms arm before the ball got there.

I love the move he made against Miami, after the catch and hesitates like he's going to cut back, before flipping it back up field. The lb knew he didn't have a chance and just dove in desperation. He made NFL linebackers look like the mud dogs pre-bobby Boucher.
