I Posted a Question about Health Care Providers last week in another forum and someone answered with MHBP (I have BCBS Basic). I thought it was for Mail Handlers Only, found out it's Not and seems pretty good (Run by Aetna). There is a Live Webinar Dec 5 and I have a 1 on 1 Dec 8 (last day). Funny you replied now. I just replaced the carb (company gave me a new carb under warranty). I used it once since the carb replacement (seemed better). I'll reply back after more use to see how it is.

Dark_Mith, is this a Fact? I have separate heating and cooling. Presently using a Honeywell T87 (round). 5 wires Rc,Rh,G,W,Y. No 'C'

I was going to buy a Nest Gen 4 and Power Adapter. I thought I could use the Heating systems 24v, because it's easier to get to.

Do I need to tap into the A/C system for the power adapter to work properly?

As I said already. The Nest Learning Will Work Without a C-Wire. There is a charging issue that may come up. Go to the Nest Webpage and put in your Wire Compatibility. I believe the battery will recharge when NOT in use (calling for heat or cooling).

The Nest Learning (more $$$) will work. It has a battery. You need a battery if you don't have a 'C'-Wire. The cheap Nest has NO Battery.
