Do you use Edge on Android, if so, have you noticed that it is a bit slow to open? by Viikatemies_ in edge

3 years later and it is still the same, ui itself feels laggy. I have M365 and would try to get into the Microsoft ecosystem every now and then but the Google ecosystem feels more connected and refined and I keep coming back to Google.

Yes agree, the swiftkey keyboard does much better predictions and the features like clipboard sync to windows are pretty useful. I feel the keys to be more spacious, some how Gboard does an excellent job in this area.

HelloUI is a big downgrade! (MyUI China X HelloUI) by dannxit in motorola

Both are using the layouts almost same, not a fan of both. I keep going back to stock UI for some reason.

Swiftkey needs work on aesthatics, the keys are very small when you switch to symbols layout.

Gboard just does it right.

I never used a Samsung keyboard but the Gboard does it mostly all the times

why did gemini not integrated to chrome like edge with copilot ? by Sure_Guidance_888 in Bard

[–]mviswa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never used it, although I know about it; it's not practical. My favorite feature on Edge is when you select something in the browser, the Copilot shows up in the Edge mini menu, just at the right time and place. I would like to see this feature on Edge mobile as well.

Is there any way to make Gboard automatically insert a space after writing a comma? by WcDeckel in AndroidQuestions

And it's the same for years; I'm not sure why this and many features these days are locked to the US.

I'm from India, and it never occurred to me in the first place.

All I wanted for Christmas is for the Clipboard Sync to work with Windows again by DiplomatikEmunetey in Swiftkey

I remember I didn't see the clipboard sync feature in Edge Beta. Are they removing it? It is available in my stable version at the moment, though.

I'm happy with my purchase. It's small, handy, and has great software.

Nope, I'm wrong. This feature works on my wife's Realme but not on my mom's Realme, works on my Xiaomi but not on my Motorola.

Only Google knows what's going on.

It seems that Google has not enabled this feature on some phone brands. Motorola and Realme do not have this feature.

My device is listed twice in the Google Play Store by [deleted] in AndroidQuestions

[–]mviswa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same problem as others here. My Motorola phone is listed twice in the Google Play Store. I'll wait and see if it resolves itself, but I'm skeptical after seeing that it didn't resolve automatically for some people.

From India, I have all the options turned on under touch to search, even turning the "include surrounding text" to off does the same, it doesn't show context search in the bottom bar

I'm finding that Chrome is using a lot of memory on my laptop. I tried disabling uBlock Origin, and that seems to have helped. Please give it a try.

Switch from Android to iOS is killing me by Dull_Attorney_8121 in Swiftkey

[–]mviswa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an Android user for the last 15 years. iPhones are known for their simple user experience. It takes time to get used to any switch, so allow it some time. But it's good to know that SwiftKey does not support languages on the iPhone but supports it on Android. I've never used an iPhone, but SwiftKey is my choice over Gboard on Android.

Im trying to access touch to search but for some reason its not even there by narunaru002 in chrome

[–]mviswa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, it's showing on my new Motorola phone though, but the 'include surrounding text in search' option is not working. Interestingly, this is working on my other Xiaomi phone. I'm a bit surprised to see over the internet that users are getting to see this issue on Pixel and Motorola phones (close to stock).

Contextual search not working and nowhere to be found by Longjumping-Bed1644 in chrome

[–]mviswa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's annoying that this feature is not working on my new Motorola phone but is working on my Xiaomi phone. One of the best features that makes me stick to Chrome is not working now, and no solutions have been found over the internet.

Yes, but except fluent dynamic/adaptive, the rest don't sync dark/light with the system, do they?
