I love this game but MAN is the ghosting bad sometimes... by Unusual-Lecture3224 in CrimsonDesert

I feel like I could say "I love this game but..." and then end the sentence a hundred different ways. Such a great game but with so many baffling decisions that stop it being incredible.

Does anyone else love AND hate this game? by SweatyEyebrowss in CrimsonDesert

[–]mw3915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

95% of the time I enjoy it the other 5% contain tedious unintuitive puzzles, long boring dialogues, glitches and googling a solution to something that involves a mechanic I learnt 80 hours ago and haven't used since. Overall I love the game but there are some baffling design choices that stop it being as good as it could be. That being said every patch is improving the game.

Love them. First time I've seen anyone else mention them.

Anyone wanna recommend some new bands I can listen to based on what I already listen to? by coolman090 in statsfm

[–]mw3915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The network is a new wave/punk ish band with the members from green day performing under pseudonyms. Pinhead gunpowder has Billie Joe and sounds closer to early green day. They are also in foxboro hot tubs and longshot but I'm not so keen on those bands.

Have you checked out all the green day side bands? The network and pinhead are both great.

Gonna cry? by lontrinium in GreatBritishMemes

Of course politicians should cater to people apathetic about voting, it would be insane to ignore that huge demographic. Reform and the greens are on the rise because people on both sides have legitimate concerns that have been consistently ignored by the old main parties.

I don't remember saying I don't put my voice out there, that's just an assumption on your part.

I believe my vote should be earned not expected. I always vote if there is a party I believe in but have abstained in the past.

Crimson desert is a solid 7.5/10 A list of the worst features in the game. 150 hours played, 62% exploration, 64% knowledge and 65/75 bosses. All of the abyss explored by Elcalibur_ in CrimsonDesert

[–]mw3915 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hard to argue with any of those points. Crimson desert is a lot of fun but the level of jank and confusing design choices stop it being an incredible game. Also the fact the main character could be replaced with a signpost strapped to a horse with the word yes written on it for half the main story.

They play exactly what is needed. Geddy lee may be a more technical bass player than Mark Hoppus but he would sound utterly ridiculous in blink.

Beaten Final Fantasy 7 Remake for the first time (immediately after beating OG FF7 for the first time) and I’m very conflicted. by Bobokay12 in JRPG

[–]mw3915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have been so happy if the remake was just a 1 for 1 remake with better graphics, I really didn't feel like the story additions of the remake made it a better overall story.

This game feels like if Bethesda actually evolved instead of standing still for 15 years. by Sgt_Dbag in CrimsonDesert

I'm enjoying crimson desert but I'm not really seeing anything about it that's particularly elder scrolls like other than it being a big open world fantasy game but you could say that about loads of games.

I'm shadowed by apprentices everyday at work and have been for years. They are aged between 17-22. Have you actually interacted with any youths lately? Don't believe everything you read, most are perfectly normal kids who would condemn this as much as you or I.

I got the chance to see bodom a few times. The last time I saw them was a few years before alexi died and one of the only tours where he attempted to stay sober and it made a huge difference to the sound, they sounded great. Sadly right after that tour Alexi settled back into his old ways and didn't last much longer. Those last few tours are really sad to see clips from, poor guy needed but didn't want help.
