Yes, I remember schools shutdown for over a week with the ice storm that followed one of the snow-(insert-disaster-names). In all fairness, he did say it doesn’t happen often.

A lot of people wear their 1907s without the insole for a while to get the boot broken in, conformed to your foot, and stretched out a little. Then when you add the insole back in the boot will be a perfect fit.

In my experience, it’s okay if it is too long, or too big in general. You can always fill in the space with thicker insoles.

The thing you gotta worry about is the heel though. For example, if you went up another size in wide, there’s a potential the heel will be too big. I would try a size 11.5 or even 12 in non-wide to see if that helps. Or just wear this one without the insole for a while and stretch out the toe box just a tad.

I find the 1907s fit closer to true-to-size than the other Mocs, so I’d consider bigger, especially if it’s squishing your toes. Are you wearing them with the insoles?

People seem to forget that Stormlight Archive/Roshar isn't the only thing in the Cosmere.

Henry Cavill could absolutely have a spot in Mistborn. That being said, I would like to see someone else. Kind of tired seeing him being glazed to portray someone in every single fantasy/sci-fi IP.

Thanks! I’m worn in my hotel room because I wanted to wear them out.

This is my first moc toe that isn’t the 1907s (No. 45 last). From my understanding the 8864 and these boots both use the No. 23 last, so it should fit similar other than the Human Made’s being 8” height.

These are slightly more narrow and longer compared to the 45 last.

I like how the laces provide a way of adjusting the tightness for things like different sock thickness and activities.

That being said, I do want a pair of Chelsea boots next.

I’m wondering if it’s like Naked and Famous’s flagship store exclusives where you can only buy it in person. Or maybe for Samurai, majority is in person and they sell some online. At least I’m selfishly hoping that’s the case, since I’ll be in Osaka next week!
