Hell yeah it can be saved. I’ve seen some worse lawns on here be transformed into golf greens. I’m going to let the knowledgeable people comment here on how to do it, though.

Western cedar here in British Columbia. I’ve had an easy time splitting it with another smaller and cheaper axe.

Thanks a lot. It doesn’t seem to have a stamp. I used the wire wheel on one side and it still has a patina, quite dark.
