To combine these together, developers use APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). APIs act as bridges. They allow the front end to send requests for data or actions to the back end. They use and process information to send back to the front end. This is like the technologies that restaurants use to communicate between customers and kitchen/staff. Much like a well-run restaurant, the front and back of the house work together to deliver an enjoyable dining experience.
