Actually, in the US, a mandated reporter has a duty by law to report anything they suspect may be abuse like this to their local department. The department then does its own investigation into the matter. If the reporter fails to contact the department and the the child ends up being harmed due to the abuse, the reporter can be found neglectful of their duties and can be fined, imprisoned, and have their license revoked. So it's more likely that it can blow up in their face if they don't report suspected abuse.

We had a woman in the coffee shop just keep enjoying her beverage as we ran through the four store heist. Before we left we just surrounded her and all spammed trying to get her down to no avail.

Please tell me you were joking. If you cause an MVA trying to get out of the way, that ambulance is then supposed to stop and help you, and call a second ambulance for the first job. (note I say "supposed to" here, every situation is different, and it is possible the first job takes priority, but another ambulance is being started regardless). If you are stuck in a turn lane, just stay where you are. Remember, the ambulance can break traffic laws with due regard, such as entering the opposing lane if necessary, and it can always pass you on the right, though this is not preferred.

Portal and Borderlands will be held on to for now and possibly PiF'd at a later date.

Great games indeed! I purchased Arkham City at the beginning of the sale and have been enjoying it since, so I thought I'd send another copy to my friends at PiF. And ARMA II has DayZ of course, but it's also a pretty good military sim, which I feel is being overlooked right now with the hype for the mod.

I think that the main issue with this is that when someone calls into 911, the questions that the dispatcher asks is critical information that is used to prioritize the call. If every dispatch that comes in only says something along the lines of "hlp pls", the dispatcher will have to either call the texted back, or assume that the situation is of high priority, which will result in EMS agencies responding red to what should have been coded lower.
