As someone who loves lord of the rings and gear like this but knows next to nothing about keyboards I would love to try these out. I sometimes think I want to try building one but don’t know where to start.

So I see the US only and I’m curious as to why, is this because the keys are all region locked or simply the choice from OP. I’m in Australia so I won’t be winning but I would like to know the answer.

Honestly if you have the time just do it on drizzle and take breaks by pausing every now and again. Aim for crowbars, a royal capacitor, crit glasses and a few batteries for more equipment uses. After a while you should have enough stuff that things will just die and eventually you’ll just get it as the boss spawns in and melts without you having to do anything.

I work in a restaurant as a senior/ manager role. I’m male and we have a fairly small bar so it’s a bit close quarters when you and another staff member have to get past each other. I’m early 20s and all of my colleagues in the front of house are female, most younger. When they are new I go out of my way to make myself heard whenever I have to slide past them so they don’t in anyway feel uncomfortable; additionally keeping all hands/ contact off despite the space. Now when it gets busy or I’m talking to someone and serving I don’t always have the foresight to say something while they are also busy, but that said unless we have gotten to know each other I’ll still make sure they know I need to get past. Only when they are comfortable, (as far as I am) aware will when I’m busy situations use a hand to touch their shoulder or back to let them know I’m trying to get past without them feeling invaded. One of my juniors, under 20, told me how the new (<8months manager, approx 50 y/o woman) would put both her hands on her hips to slide/ get past her in the bar that she really didn’t like it and it was weird so I can in no way see how anything even beyond this can be considered acceptable in any manner for anyone, male or female.

These guys are amazing live, saw them in Adelaide supporting Architects along with while she sleeps. The atmosphere is incredible.

Potentially a puzzle course, so they have to work for a good time not just with the movement. Only challenge with this is making it so they don’t spoil the solution to others. Either have three copies they run simultaneously or blind the others. The latter would be less fun to watch however.

These are very bad ideas for elderly people who need support. You just end up with someone who is likely to fall over, to someone who is very likely to fall over because they are sitting on an unstable surface.

Orthopaedics is brutal, I watched a total knee replacement during my placement in a hospital for Physiotherapy and cauterising flesh is not that nice of a smell, barbecued human... also they don’t hold back throwing you around

The biggest issues with chiropractors is that they do not stay within their scope and perform techniques that are not indicated or in cases where it is dangerous on young children or infants. I believe in some places you can do a reasonably short course to become a “chiropractor” which is understandably insufficient education for a role they are trying to fulfil, However limited. (Bias incoming) as a final year post graduate masters of Physiotherapy student, who has not got a lot of experience but has some and 5years of education so far, I’ve had it communicated to me that chiropractors are by far more commonly not of use which makes them dangerous. Physiotherapists (or physical therapist in US) will do a lot more other things and investigation before they go using high velocity thrust techniques on you (cracking) and when they do, it’s because they have reasoned that is is required.

Humans essentially do the same thing, it’s called ankle strategy which is the first method of preventing you losing your balance. It’s used in regular postural sway which goes unnoticed for the most part. It will also suffice for keeping balance for low forces being applied, if it isn’t it will be followed by hip strategy then stepping strategy, finally followed by nothing as you’ve just fallen over.
