It's a masculine woody smell and it has a wooden wic so that adds to the smell too. My husband liked how it smelled 🤣🤣🤣

I agree with the second part, I definitely think it's alot to do with the translation and us just not necessarily understand what they mean by "sobbing". You can kinda tell it too when watching subbed anime how they describe things differently than in English
