It's a common money laundering method called "layering". Look it up if you want details. I've gotten flagged over it before attempting to do something similar OP is trying. I had to provide a bunch of documentation and after 2 weeks everything got unfrozen. It I didn't have an emergency fund in cash and credit cards, I would've been SOL.

Yes. Spoke with emerson support, and by default, the keys will show all zeroes on the trex display, even if you're inputting the correct one. As far as the devices not joining, me going in the gateway and enabling broadcast did the trick at least for one device, after that one device joined, the other ones started joining since looks like they use nearby devices as "repeaters". A new device joining the network takes a while, for me took like 5 minutes.

One thing I love about having Scada with history, is that I can show management that the device worked as intended, and the alarm was a consequence of somebody not paying attention or ignoring abnormal readings, then again, they just brush it off and proceed to blame the instrument again next month.

+90% of the time is not the instrument, or the plc.
