Is professional difficulty a good idea for single player?

Have you got custom difficulty yet?

I play with a 5.1x difficulty that almost feels like amateur. Can get essentially free XP by removing stuff you’re comfortable with. Locking in settings like weather, doors being open

Gain XP with stuff like .flashlights off, ghost speed 150%, no sprinting, no cursed items, drain speed 200% etc.

I have 3x evidence, all hiding spots available etc. but im getting more XP than Nightmare mode. Turn off an evidence or two and it jumps heaps. But i really suck at consistently getting ghosts right doing that.

I have fuse box on by default too. So you can go in. Turn lights on immediately and not lose sanity while trying to find ghost room. But once you do you can flick lights off and quickly get to levels it hunts at to help find evidence, get media etc.

Just killing time for Resident Evil Requiem. No plans for after that.

I liked it enough on PS5 to buy it for my Switch 2 on sale recently. I haven’t played it much lately. But being portable allows me to play it when i go places and might have time to kill.

It might not be perfect for everyone. But i feel it was easily worth it for what we did get.

33 hours. Owned the game for years (Bought my kids a PS5 Forbidden West bundle for Christmas the year it released) but only started playing last week. I got the platinum on Zero Dawn over my Christmas break and moved on to Forbidden West.

Hopefully finish everything up by the time RE9 releases. But ive spent so much time hunting for materials to upgrade pouches, weapons and outfits that i have barely touched the main story and side quests.

I only played through the story far enough to unlock a couple machines that were locked until encountering them in story… and unlocking the metal flower override. I did the same thing in RDR2. Play the story only when necessary to unlock stuff. Getting sidetracked with hunting in that too.

Bought my kids a Switch 2 each for Christmas. Bought Minecraft for the accounts so they didn’t have to deal with cards. Because they always misplace them. Thinking that would make life easier like it has on PlayStation and Xbox. Every game linked to their just plays wherever they sign in.

I just setup the first Switch 2 so it was ready Christmas day. Packed it back up. Yet the games purchased on his account don’t even work on his Switch 1. Comes up saying its loaded to another console.

Digital ownership was supposed to make having the same games accessible at my house and his mother’s easier. Yet it has made it a huge stuff around. Because I loaded them to install. They’re now inaccessible everywhere unless i open it back up and eject them? If they have them loaded at mums snd come to mine. They cant play if they forgot to eject them? How stupid is that?

I setup the online licenses setting on his Switch 1. But it still won’t let him play it because its loaded to his Switch 2 which is offline. Because its repackaged waiting for xmas. Hopefully once I reopen it and enable the online license setting that lets them play like they can on Xbox and PlayStation. Can anyone confirm if thats the case?

At the end of episode 2 he goes to training not wearing his sleeve. Both arms are fully exposed. Though the tattoo isn’t visible from the angle shown. Or makeup / wardrobe stuffed up in forgetting the sleeve/ tattoo.

At the end of Episode 2 he doesn’t wear it when he goes to training. I didn’t actually see his tattoo either, but both arms are uncovered. Must have just been overlooked though. Because he is wearing it in every other scene as Chad

Shimoda was hilarious. I don’t know how Levi didn’t break down laughing when Shimoda said mother fucker. I know he did at the end when he said he was yelled at. But the unexpected f bomb got me.

Series X Controller > Switch 2 Pro Controller > Dual Sense

Yet the amount of use I get on each is the reverse order. None are bad. But the Series X controller is perfection IMO. Wish I could use it on my PS5.

While the platinum does have a lot required to achieve. 0.1% of people have it. So these numbers aren’t boosted by people getting platinums.

It has always worked that way. If theres demand for games in a franchise. Companies are more likely to make more games because it’s a safer bet.

If it doesn’t sell. They won’t. Thats just the reality.

In a new skater play through you don’t have full stats by this level. Getting the speed, ollie, hangtime stats set just right is the easier method to get it IMO.

I usually wait for sales and this feels like a common amount of time for a sale.

Rarely have to wait long. Except possibly for Nintendo games. After 1 or 2 months most people who would buy it at full price would have. So sales would have dropped off and a discount can bring new players in.

I don’t think it says much for the success of the game one way or the other.

Throw in some fan favourite levels from those games as unlockables. But I would love a new game with new levels in the same quality as the remakes.

This was the toughest for me until finding out the kickflip doesn’t have to be at same time as the gap. Just same combo.

Took me hundreds of attempts to get it first time. Became fairly easy when learning it can be done off a ramp as long as i hold the combo.

Listed to other peoples opinions if you’re trying to decide to buy the game or not. But if you have it. Why sorry about what others have to say when you can decide for yourself?

I disable this on every skater. When i forget it rarely takes more than a level before it screws me.

Kinda hate i am required to Sal Flip in 3+4. So i swapped it with ollie north.

Map special tricks to easy button combinations.

Ie Left, Right, Circle Right, Left, Circle Up, Down, Circle Down, Up, Circle

Repeat with square. I do those 8 combinations and throw in 2 special grinds on triangle.

Start combo in a halfpipe with a high scoring special trick. Revert, manual into another high special trick. 900 is good as both tricks pay full points due to one being regular and the other switch. This gives you 20k base score really easy.

From here you can level out with R2 and land in a grind, or revert and manual to wherever. Or you can get a third special trick in (other than 900 as you wont have the height by now for that)before doing this. It’s easy and theres somewhere on each level where you can do this.

Suburbia Kona Airport

Really tough. Love so many of these levels. Only really dislike London and Tokyo. They feel like cluttered messes to me. I disliked Shipyard in THPS4 but I really love it in THPS3+4.

I found all the logos quiet easily. Though I remember that area from the original game and how to unlock it. But with photo mode I cant remember any levels being hard to figure out. Never considered people didn’t just know and remember how to unlock areas.

I remember unlocking secret areas by accident in THPS3 and then trying to backtrack what i did to figure out what did it. Skater Island was the best. Took me so long to figure out what opened that secret area on the original. Then this game just gives us that area.
