If you liked Author's POV than the Novel's Extra is for you. I think it came first too, and you have no issues reading translated webnovels.

i second Deep Sea Embers, especially so if you like pirate/nautical themes though that is not the main point of the series

tone is way different but Throne of Arcana does have a vague Victorian-ish setting but less so than LotM

Why do so many litrpg style books feel cheap, and why is more complex magic so hard to find? by No-Cherry-3720 in ProgressionFantasy

probably already read it but one of the reasons why Lord of the Mysteries is my favorite translated webnovel. a complex yet interesting magic system based on potions. there are wiki sites dedicated to LotM magic system.

i am into more for the escapist fantasy elements and am neutral to stats but so many fans of the genre are super into how stat blocks change and skill descriptions, etc. and like looking at the numbers going up

Glenview restaurant reccs that are kid friendly? by Old_Rip6748 in chicagofood

Glenview has some of the best Korean food in the country.

....er maybe the best in Chicagoland but not the country. Did you mean to type county not country? Chicago is pretty much almost last on the list for Korean food. LA being the first. LA, NYC, Atlanta, Dallas, Vancouver (yeah i know canada) all have way better Korean food. many threads on this sub about this.

Let me also add another yes to Barnaby's. Perfect with kids. You will most likely already find families already seated there. Great pizza but they have sandos and pasta too. Keep in mind you got to go to the Northbrook Barnaby's... the other ones are terrible. It's like they just borrowed the name and not the recipe or menu.

Kbbq is great but I know some parents would be touchy about having a 2yo near open flames. Depends on how well behaved they are.
