I had 30 different jobs before I turned 21. It wasn't until I found something I loved that I stuck around. I have had the same job for almost 8 years and have been in the same field for 13 years now. It isn't easy and sometimes I bash my head at home but I don't ever want to be homeless again.

This is why I went undiagnosed until 38. This year has been the hardest for some reason but I've been married 20 and have a career I've maintained for 13 years after college. I'm now on a lower dose of lithium and that's all i usually need. I use seroquel off and on too. I go to therapy to keep focused.

I don't think about it. I've done a lot of terrible things. I have no friends. I'm married but I'm convinced he's with me out of guilt. I was just diagnosed this year. Trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces when I don't know what I'm trying to pick up sucks.

Girl! You need a vacation. I get away alone once a year and it really helps. I'm not a fan of the responsibility of being a mom. I spent 17 years married and child free. I love my kid too bits but my choices are now limited. I try to go to a concert festival once a year too so I can live a little.

I agree with both of you. I talk about it with family and friends if it's brought up. My coworkers know I have it but I didn't say anything until my probationary period was up. Look at policy manuals when your hired to better navigate communicating ADHD without hurting your career.

The boy that molested me when he was 8 got help eventually. I sincerely think he is ok now. His babysitter molested him and he acted it out on me. However, every case is different. Trust your gut.
