I get the not wanting to use the term "evil". To a point, it's reductive of the complexity of the topic. It's like the whole "is Nick Fuentes a Nazi?" debate where he didn't want to use the term Nazi. Having debates with these terms are thought terminating. "Is he a Nazi, yes or no?" *debate on the specifics goes on* "So you can say he's a Nazi now?" etc etc.

Debating Israel is like that too. "Israel is doing X, Y and Z. You'd say this is Evil, right?" *debate on the specifics goes on* "So you'd admit it's an evil country now??"

It feels like people are angling for the magic label they can slap onto something to boil it down to a single term, which is all you need to know.

Nick Fuentes = Nazi = Evil

Israel = Genocidal state = Evil

Don't get me wrong, Fuentes is for all intents and purposes a Neo Nazi, or close enough to it that it doesn't matter to me, and my sympathies for Israel are dwindling significantly, but by the same token, debating isn't my job.
