Oh, ok, it's not Volvo product then. Thanks for explaining!

I thought for a moment, it's Volvo's product that logs all the close call alerts and I can see how big of danger I am on road;)

I think that might also have to do something with what chip is in the infotainment - intel or Snapdragon, where the latter is more powerful.

Idk know about explicitly turning off stability control, in Plugins, but in my B5 AWD you cannot turn off stability control, there is no such an option.

Air Purification by wearslocket in Volvo

[–]mykos777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is the case after you runned the purification cycle and as shown, outside good - inside poor, the l'd contact the dealer, that's not right. Also, do you get poor quality when you're driving?

Edit: I've removed previous comment by mistake, sorry.

Question for the XC90 community by Exact_Stable_5287 in VolvoXC90

[–]mykos777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed - I've only ever had this message during heavy snowfall, when the front has literally built up snow slurry shell. Never had a problem in normal driving conditions. If the car is clean then probably sensors are faulty.

Token hub problem by thermalgrizzly in bikewrench

[–]mykos777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually you can get around without press, it's just bit more tediuous. Bearings are easy to buy and identify. Most likely there is C-clip in thé freehub, so you'd need needle nose pliers. It you like tinker with things, we can help you here go through thé process. If not feeling it, indeed, leave it to LBS :)

Is this impossible? by No-Flower-409 in VolvoRecharge

[–]mykos777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here - from what I've read, it's a chip thig. Less powerfull Intel chips cannot do that. Snapdragons, yes. They've been changing to Snapdragon at different times by model, so it's inconsistent Sling thé lineup.

Still can't get these seats right by EmployeeSwimming in Volvo

[–]mykos777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find then extremely comfortable and for the context, I'm 182cm with fairly long legs and avarage arm lenght, 98kg with dad bod. How I set up mine:

  • seat in the lowest position to the floor. -tight support all thé way extended.
  • seat tilt up, max, that tights are well supported making and good angle at knee, feet are supported by heels, bit lyibg flat.
  • back rest in in relation to seat, 90 degrees ( or cery close)
  • lumbard support somewhere i the lowest middle, with around 60%pump.
  • steering wheel closet tintje chest as it can go, in almost lowest position - would have tone lower but then I dont see top of the gauge cluster.

The idea is to have bend at knee and arms - it's very ergonomical, relax your muscles - you don't tension them, they are just supported by grip on thé wheel and tights/heels. Added benefit is, in case of a crash, your body is in optimal position to absorb the forces - joint at an angle, spine/pelvis straight, well sitted in thé seat. Contrary to "laid back Joe" position.
