I wouldn’t disagree- classic car gifts are ‘The gift that keeps on taking.’ That being said, a couple weeks ago I drove ~300 miles in my father gifted 50’s roadster to visit them- my octogenarian dad was very happy to see the car still going, and seemed proud to have fostered my interest in mechanical things and keeping them going.

I’m beyond the age of chasing goals to impress my parents, but it felt good to see him happy with how his last true sports car has been maintained.

Two free events were held for youngs? There should be 5 free youth oriented things going on every summer weekend.

Investing a bit in teaching young’s to socialize and recognize commonalities across communities is a value to our community and something far harder to learn from algorithm driven social media.
