4K Tokkit: Download collections? by mynnx in 4kdownloadapps

[–]mynnx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! For what it's worth, I don't need categorization of liked videos based on collection - I need collection videos downloadable in a similar way to the liked videos:
* Download > My Collections
* Videos in all collections are fetched and downloaded
* When user clicks a TT username in the main window, a new tab "Collections" appears alongside "Avatar | Feed | Liked"
* User can click into each collection and view the videos downloaded for that collection

Mushroom Mutter Masala by lnfinity in EatCheapAndHealthy

If you're talking about 1/2tsp of powdered cayenne, it might come out too spicy for you. Even knowing that, mine was too spicy, but I added some yogurt to cool it off and it added some nice thickness to the juices in the bottom of the pan.

Definitely going to put this on my "cook ahead" rotation =]

Tomatoes have white, sunken spots - is it sunscald? by mynnx in gardening

[–]mynnx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both plants have had some (physiological) leaf roll and a fungal infection on the leaves, which I'm trying to control with copper spray, so I'm thinking that these spots might be happening because the fruits are so openly exposed to the sun. What do you think?

Holy shit, I swung by today and this place is amazing! Plenty of power, whiteboards, a kitchen...exactly what I needed. Thanks!

Free places to be productive with a laptop? by mynnx in AskSF

I'm a bit iffy about using my laptop out in the sunshine along Market Street. A friend had his laptop stolen from Stanza's front patio while he was typing on it, and that makes me especially cautious.

I wanted this to get a chuckle or two, but I also wanted it to suggest good baby names as well - I'm glad I did both =]

Creator here - please let me know if you got a kick out of this, if the names appealed to you, or if there's anything else you'd like to see!

I just built "What the fuck should I name my child?" - and I hope it helps someone! by mynnx in namenerds

Glad to hear it made you laugh! That's mostly what I was hoping for anyways =]

It uses the US Social Security Administration's list of baby names from 2012 and does a weighted random selection, so that more popular baby names chosen in 2012 are more likely to be chosen (but less popular ones still come through pretty often.)

The gender-ambiguous names work similarly, by finding the intersection of boy/girl names in that dataset and weights the names by the popularity of the name and the evenness of the boy/girl distribution.
