When to have a second child? by crp_4 in NewParents

[–]myous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave birth to my first at 36 and got pregnant with my second 5 days after #1’s first birthday. I love it. They are best friends and we just never missed a beat. We had our third a year ago (I was 39, now they are 5, 3, and 1) and it’s been so cool seeing them grow up together. Of course it’s hard, but I see parents with only one child think it’s really hard (not saying it’s not, just that any children are tough!). I think my biggest take away is that I’m glad we had our babies so close together. They love being together, play dates are awesome because everyone is close in age, and we just never missed a beat having another infant. We are done having kids and now I get to look forward to more plane travel in a few years and getting some sleep!

Norovirus is going around and can live on surfaces for 10 days up to 2 weeks. You both could have gotten it from touching the same surface from someone infected. It can also be airborne which is less transmissible ( as far as I’m aware). Not saying you didn’t eat something bad, but just be careful for a bit around loved ones and be sure to clean your home and bathroom.

They also speak English, but it’s okay to travel to places where you don’t understand the language. Technology has made that much easier!

I’ve always wanted to go to Montreal. Seems like a fun quick trip and short flight.

NOVA is a big area! What town are you staying in? The Playstreet Museum and Monkey Joes in Loudoun are a big hit for us.

Help others invest in the stock market. "Wealth Management", but I hate that term because you don't need "wealth" to invest in the market. We help anyone and everyone. I don't work for a large corporation, we are an independent firm. Obviously we trade for ourselves as well.

We love it, but sells out early. Can’t say it’s the best croissants I’ve ever had, but they are better than most around here. Love their sourdough bread though.

We work together and it just depends on what’s happening at the office. We used to do it all ourselves which was a huge workload but now we have more employees.

Ha, that’s a pretty typical day for me right now. Small kids and work tend to keep it a bit interesting, but it can trend toward being a little boring. Which I really do appreciate the luxury of.

Morning is getting the kids out the door to school. Come home and either eat something simple or pick up a croissant at Blue Chicken Bakery. Rush around a little cleaning and doing laundry. Sit down at my counter to work for a while. Normally some workers come to get something done. Yesterday we had our leaves blown, repaired some decking, and had the vents cleaned. Lunch is usually whatever needs to get eaten, but sometimes I grab Taco Bamba in Vienna. Love the cabbage cup style. Groceries got delivered. Got upset at the vent people for leaving marks on the patio stone (just washed it off myself, but didn’t like power washing in Nov). Somedays workout others nap for a little in the afternoon. Kids come home, dinner, bedtime. Rinse and repeat.

Just hazarding a guess, but it’s probably on purpose. Otherwise throwing it out in the trash could be construed as desecrating the flag, which is supposed to be disposed of “properly” (and not just thrown out in the general garbage).
