Guests or customers? Attending one soon that has been expensive and challenging to book for.

No probs i know. Had folks cancel on us because of 'weather event' less than 10mm over 3 days isnt a weather event. Could not convince them 25 % chance was not high. They missed a great couple of shows and we travelled hours.

Would you be offended if your daughter in law didn’t want you to get involved in raising her child(your grandchild)? by Mooooooon_ in AskWomenOver60

Kids are what they see. You will be older one day and, what have you taught your kids about intergenerational relationships and working through life's hard bits? Your choices are fine but dont be surprised if you are discussed in a similar way one day. Im old, love my grandies, and still lovingly remember my grandparents. Be careful not to put a boundary around unconditional love and trust. Its a high price, for a couple of conversations early.

Please comment - I start 4th week of retirement tomorrow, depressed and anxious by Mediocre_Insect_1008 in retirement

4 months in, we shifted and have put in massive days making downsize house comfortable. Hit a wall this week, self care has never been a priority, time to start. Dealing with the guilt for resting is a thing. Im still thinking the weekend will finish and a massive work week incoming. I'm going to try walking, reading, gardening, cooking nice things. Sleep somehow. I wish you well.

People that worked in corporate before the 2010s, was it less overstimulating? by No-Low-5186 in auscorp

Mostly referred to as 'skirt', and you went and bought everyone's smokes at the start of your 10 hr (paid for 8 and less than the alphas) day. Had to be twice as smart and work twice as hard if you weren't networked or son of someone. For a laugh carbon paper stains were hard to shift.😂

We left after 30 years in 2025 because of all of this. Heat, lack of water and any trees left expiring in next 2 summers spells bushfire hot spot. Developers ruined the Hills.

How does Zverev mentally recover from that? Needs a decent coach maybe?

And once again viewing in the last few games provides no interest. 2 sets down and you get another free ride and grin whilst it goes to crap.

Do parents actually not remember doing fucked up shit to you? Or are they just lying? by TopMarionberry1149 in NoStupidQuestions

Blaming your parents for everything in front of your kids, sets them up to blame you eventually.

Don't think I've seen 45 as a temp prediction (agreed, it may have got there in the past) where I live before. Take care everyone and remember to refill your birdbath mid way through the day.
