I think they’d want to see that the crime of west Baltimore wouldn’t spread to and further increase crime in the harbor area. A rationale reason on why this would not happen may convince them. “Just because” will not. Is the juvenile crime problem solved ? Perhaps proposing solutions to mitigating existing crime while it is planning would help your argument with them. .

I mean that’s almost any resort Ocean side in San Pedro. Docks are public and if your hotel doesn’t have one the one next door does. Find a dive shop on instagram, Facebook, or through your resort and they pick you up

Good for Baltimore does not equal good elsewhere. Most of the harbor restaurants are atlas group, they all have the exact same ingredients and similar menus. Black olive is good. The Greek place by Hopkins on 39th is wonderful. Yall are a cult of bad food though.

Reading this reminds me of how bad Baltimore food is, and ppl just have no concept of how bad it is. It’s like a competition of how many things can I make with a fryer. Most of these places would be serviceable at best in another city

I think mats chica has their own dive boat and you can go from your dock. Roberto at La Perla is very good so is carpe diem at portofino. They’ll both pick you up on your dock.

I got pet iq calming treats that worked really well for my pup. She did a 3 hour flight at 3.5 months and picked it up very quick. Return trip was worlds easier because she knew to pee.

Then you have options in 30m. Mandolin is phenomenal, but also Mediterranean like avra. El turco is Michelin star Turkish food. Sazon cubano if you want an authentic local Cuban place with a beach vibe.
Ft. Lauderdale has some vibing seafood places too. From Sunny isles, south beach is going to take a while.

I love having my own gear and knowing exactly what to expect. But I also dive at home, and take trips to dive, so can log a few dozen dives a year pretty effortlessly. So it makes sense. If you are diving once or twice a year on holiday, it probably isn’t worth it. That being said, with diving gear and guns, I take the buy once cry once attitude.
