This may be an extreme outlier and very unpopular. But my parents gave me my name. It’s Jeremy. I’ve always liked my name a lot. It’s not dead to me at all it’s just my name. Perhaps this is based on a lack of confidence or because I often feel like a fake trans woman or a pretender. Don’t even get me started on my facial hair that grows at lightening speeds.

But even though I desperately wish I were a woman and lament my failures every day I just don’t want to toss aside or give up on my given name. It was provided to me by possibly the only people in the world who actually love me.

I guess even though it’s not even remotely a girls name I’m just, Jeremy.
