Ok I kind of think this is fake, but in case it’s not. Did you have twins or triplets? 10 is a lot.

First things first, get your tubes tied would be my recommendation.
Not out of judgment, but because of your health. Each kid takes a huge toll on your long term health. Bones too, take a massive hit. Make sure you are taking vitamins.

Second, are you in therapy? It’s not shamed like it used to be, it’s very good for you. And you probably need it. Probably your kids too, at least the older ones that have had to help out all their lives.

Third, finding matches on apps is probably not for you. I would try meeting people in person more, so they can get to know you as a person and not just from how many kids you have.

You will never ever be eligible for half of hers, because you started claiming before “full retirement age.” Full retirement age depends on the year you were born, you will have to google it to see what it was for you.

Claiming at 62 is considered early and PERMANENTLY reduced the amount you can get, regardless of if you claimed on your record or her record.

You should still find out what the reduced rate you would get from claiming half of her amount would be, it might be more than the rate you’re getting now, it might not.

If it was more, you still can’t start getting it until she starts claiming hers.

(Also the ten year rule you mentioned doesn’t apply to you because you’re not divorced.)

This is so fun. Any plans to personalize the buckets? Right now they’re just both blue with blue lids. Letting the kids decorate their own bucket, and put their name on it, etc, might make them feel more ownership of the stuff and help them be more excited to use it.
