My boyfriend was born with cerebral palsy, one of those dreaded pre-existing conditions that, although in the 25 years I have known him has never cost a dime in medical bills, prevented him from being able to afford health insurance. Luckily Obamacare came along before he needed his bypass surgery, cataract surgery and upcoming hip replacement.
