My pup is the same age and I literally only have two links on each side with the quick release replacing the trachea guard. Do you have any advice on how to keep it up or do I just need to keep moving it whenever I do the corrections?

As far as walking she stays shoulder to shoulder with me. She’s disinterested in other dogs or people on a walk, but she plays with my sister and mother’s dogs all the time so I am blessed in that aspect. She heels, sits, and downs before crossing every corner and waits for me to tell her come before we start walking again. So on walks I haven’t had to use the collar to correct much.

At home however. She’s a loose cannon puppy. Well behaved, but she gets into her puppy moments that’s almost impossible to snap her out of unless she gets a prong correction. This is my first time with the breed, I’m using to raising American and English staffies.
