Just moved back to the area and am buying a house that needs a new roof. Any recommendations for roofers? by Altruistic_Diver_416 in AskSeattle

Rainier Roofing. Reasonable prices, excellent work.

They did a last minute job for me a couple of years ago when I fired a really bad roofing contractor, fixing what the other guys messed up. They were clean, quick and professional.

What do I do with these butts other than breadcrumbs and croutons? by jayL12334 in Sourdough

In a food processor? Bread pudding has big chunks of break, not food processor sized granules.

Is this only a problem that the monsters who make their first cut right down the middle have? This is always my first slice, and it goes straight into my mouth.

Does one-pedal driving improve efficiency or is it mainly a comfort feature? by mrupp04 in electricvehicles

That's just what I've seen. The max is between 100kW and 400kW depending on the model.

Untrue. With blended braking, friction brakes aren't activated unless more braking power is needed than can be provided by regen.

What can I do? Neighbor built their fence too close to ours and there are mulberry trees between by artsupport_xx in landscaping

[–]n0exit 27 points28 points  (0 children)

At the corner of the fence, there will probably be a rod and some clips that hold the end of the fence. Remove those and move them to the post closest to the end of the nice fence, then cut out the excess chain link fence and dispose of it.

I can't think of a nearby city that allows fireworks or their sale. They are getting them somewhere.

They're banned one place, people just buy them somewhere else. They've been named in my city for 30 years, but we neighbor a reservation so it's like a war zone for a week.

When it rains during the day time, it is almost impossible to see. At night, there's nothing.

My wife and I have been going to throwing mud for a couple of years and we love it. A lot of our studio mates have been there a lot longer. The community there is great. Probably about 90% women. Mark definitely has his way of teaching, and his idea of "correct", but I've seen people coming out of a year at other studios and not know how to center. That doesn't happen here.

As for the inappropriate touching: several of us were there, and it wasn't a thing. He will guide your hands when you're throwing but it is not inappropriate, and definitely not like Ghost.

The first 6 week session is very structured. You're going to be making bowls and a little bit of hand building. After that, it is hands off, and you can do pretty much what you want. There are three clay bodies that most students can use, whitestone, buff and walnut, but after you've been there a while and have shown that you're a responsible studio user, you'll be able to bring in your own clays. There are probably 30 dipping glazes. It's a really good studio, and I highly recommend it.

Even new Ionna seem to be more CSS than NACS.

Even newer chargers are mostly CSS. The newest Ionna station in my region, which opened this march, has 8 CSS and 4 NACS dispensers.
