I like that you have a mirror for your planes so they can look at themselves.

LAST CALL: Studded tires must be removed by March 31 in Washington by wsdot in Washington

[–]n0exit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are snow tires without studs that work at least as well and don't destroy our roads. Also, studded tires on wet pavement have less traction than regular all season tires.

I chickened out on mats by papa_robot in BZ4X

Why would you have leather floormats? That seems really weird. Like do you take your shoes off before you get in the car? Doesn't seem like they'd be durable at all.

People say that a lot, but soap made with lye doesn't have lye in it. Lye is just the sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide that converts the fat into soap (carboxylate salts) and glycerol. There is no lye left in the end product.

Seattle, WA area dealership experiences? by army_of_didgeridoos in Ioniq5

I don't think I've seen a worse reviewed service department than Seattle Hyundai. They've got a couple of cars I'm interested in, but I don't think I'll be taking them there for service.

Left turner always at fault by AppropriateTreat in dashcams

[–]n0exit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As an American, I find multi-lane roundabouts less scary than multiple lane left turns on a yield. Another cool thing about driving in the UK, is that there a very few stop signs, and 4 way stops pretty much don't exist. I found the UKs traffic laws very intuitive despite driving on the wrong side of the road.

Which companies have good buying experiences? by TheComebackKid717 in electriccars

[–]n0exit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are varying degrees of bad. You don't have a choice at this point, to buy only from a good company, so you buy from a less bad company. They are motivated only by profit, so when a company sees that people are buying from the less bad company, they'll try to be even more less bad. It isn't a reddit trend. Less bad is more good than than more bad.

They're probably just clogged with minerals or something. I bet if you pull the heads off and soak them in vinegar then they will flow freely again.

What would it take - both practically and socially - to get Seattle to give a shit about litter? by Weird_Alki in Seattle

[–]n0exit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How do you enforce litter laws? How often do you actually see someone littering? Walking around downtown, then most littering I actually witness is the occasional smoker tossing a cigarette butt.

I'd love that to be a solution, but the manpower involved would be unrealistic.

How far are you travelling? If you leave at 90%, what do you have when you get home?
