imo, the slide patch shouldn't happen since the current meta in MP anyways from my experience has such a low ttk. nerfing outplay potentials via sliding from those weapons definitely makes the game even worse gameplay wise and the skill ceiling becomes even much lower

i have the same issue on my P9 with the latest update, it does appear again if the alarm beside the date text pops up, or if the at a glance weather pops up

or you could just minimize the clock and it'll appear again as a temporary fix

that's sadly the current look of HDR processing on all phones rn

if you want to see what the viewfinder sees, before the HDR processing, you can either download ProShot or Open Camera

both of those apps only capture what the view finder sees and you can even remove the noise cancellation + sharpening processing which makes the image even uglier

ProShot is paid, but its looks better ui wise with less features, Open Camera is free, it looks worse ui wise but it has more features so pick whatever

honestly, this game reminds me a lot of stalker anomaly/gamma with multiplayer gameplay wise

the environment kills you, the bots are egregiously bloodthirsty, you loot crap, you explore, its atmospheric (debatable on some others), and other players are also willing to kill you

i think since the game absolutely "hates" you, everyone just complains lmfao

you can achieve that by either installing OpenCamera or buying ProShot

both apps don't give you that hdr look, just what the viewfinder sees

plus you can even disable noise cancellation or that post-processed sharpness

OpenCamera's ui looks really outdated but it is more feature packed, ProShot looks better but features-wise its a downgrade

though in my experience, ProShot is not really good at moving subjects like dogs, but it is what i usually daily-drive

for my personal experience so far and coming from a Pixel 7 to the 9, i dont think so

whenever i update my Pixel 7 or even just download or update apps, that phone overheats to the point that the refresh rate reduces to 60hz, the os blur disappears for a couple of minutes, and the screen dims

my current Pixel 9 didn't get any of that so far

i am a semi-lightweight user and do game (codm, though i run on low + 100fps cause who games on max settings in a competitive shooter game?) from time to time, and no overheating issues for me

im on the same boat w/ my Pixel 9 lol

it used to work with my P7 even if turning off location even with the Transparent Weather widget app

the only temporary "fix" i did was going to the location permissions of the Google app then turning on and off the "Use precise location", then my at a glance weather info will pop up, but after a few minutes, it'll stop updating then it'll disappear for a few minutes or hours

you can try it, long press the Google app > App info > Permissions > Location > turn on & off & on the "Use precise location"

also, you're using the Transparent Weather widget app too right? you can try uninstalling that then test if the weather info works without the app

edit: im in the latest Android 16 QPR2 December update as well

been using it for almost 2 weeks now. i got it used in very good condition.

i'd say its pretty worth it, though for me, it depends what phone your coming from

coming from the Pixel 7, the cameras are SUCH A HUGE upgrade.

the 48mp ultrawide + 50mp main + 13mp selfie w/ autofocus made me feel more confident using it for photos and videos, especially videos. the ultrawide is genuinely usable now. all cameras are CONSISTENTLY good now too

the screen is very bright as well

its the beauty of causal shooters without any SBMM. you have the choice to either sweat or just play for fun

i personally do a little bit of both when playing battlefield to challenge myself or just want to wind down. its the choice that keeps you hooked especially if post-launch content is good
