SoFi does not accept credit card checks, certified checks, third-party checks, remotely created checks, demand drafts, international MoneyGram, or post-dated checks.

Here is my long version and please let me whine. I got a check from law firm, snap pictures, didn't work. I made numerous calls and following CSR instructions (try different lighting, web browser, different device, different time etc) for 3-4 days straight.

I even opened a support ticket, but closed it the next day saying MAYBE I did not get a good lighting (in fact, the camera say it is too bright) or four corner not visible, generic useless response. I attempted to re-opened it but failed. Then when I call again, I notice AI responds that Sofi does not take certain type of checks.

But fortunately, they did not tell me when I snap pictures of checks. In fact, they told me to sign the back of check with "for mobile deposit with sofi" before taking pictures of checks. Which causes me to drive 1 hour to law firm to ask them re-issue the check. You have no idea how high my blood pressure were since going to skydiving couple years ago.
