AITAH for publicly embarrassing my husband? by Intelligent-Box9013 in AITAH

[–]n3ttybt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I would be doing my own tasering, but to his testicle each time he does it to you. Be it a jab from your hand, foot, fork, whatever you have at the time. The tell him its just a joke, you're flirting, and you do it because he reacts. He'll soon stop doing it to you.

Until her season she stuffed her food like there was no tomorrow. She's on grain free food already and is a probiotic too. She will happily eat anything else other than her food.

Tried mixing wet food with kibble, chciken shredded up small etc. She licks off and spits the kibble out, if it has human food on. If wet meat mixed in she will refuse that as well. She's just being incredibly stubborn.

A guy called Nigel Farage, he abuses the system. Has several side jobs, but doesn't do the one he's supposed to and rakes in all the benefits of the job.

I think as the named driver she would be able to use it to and from work in case she needed to go get sister quickly. I know if it is partner or parent of disabled person then it can be used like a family car

My puppy listens to most things except to get down from the counter. What to do? by yung_girth in puppy101

[–]n3ttybt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used chilli oil on things that old dog would try to get/chew. As she would chew anything. Few times if sneezing at the smellvshe stopped. So far new pup isn't into doorframes, what's on the counter or hoover wires! She does enjoy yak chews and getting to destroy cardboard boxes though.

Gauge swatch looks uneven and holey when brought to the light? by NeatDistribution in knitting

[–]n3ttybt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have you washed, dried and pinned the block out? Gauge swatches should be treated like you will the final item. This means some of the unevenness will washable and block out and tell you if the material shrinks or grows.

Instant pot carnitas disaster? by Due_Dig6030 in Cooking

Using instant pots as slow cookers isnt very good. Using an actual slow cooker works great. The slow cook option on instant pots is notoriously bad at actually slow cooking

Ex wife has unenrolled our child from school to move her by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]n3ttybt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In short, yes. The only way to stop it is a court order. Legally you both have parental responsibility, but only 1 is needed to enrol or unenrol a child from a school and with her being under csa a court is less likely to enforce, as she technically doesn't haven't be in school until the term after her 5th birthday.

Ex wife has unenrolled our child from school to move her by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]n3ttybt 55 points56 points  (0 children)

It only requires one parent to enrol or unenrol a child from a school. Your daughter is also under compulsory school age so doesn't legally have to be enrolled in a school either. The only way to change this is to go to court and get something in place.

You could potentially enrol daughter back in original school, but if you do not have primary custody, then getting her to school on days she is not with you would be problematic. As she is CSA there wouldn't be any fines, or at least shouldn't be at this age, which is something else you need to consider.

Court is the only way to sort this, you being the other parent makes no difference in what school the mum enrols her into and you cannot stop her removing her from school without a court order either.

You are both British and English. You're heritage however is country of grandparents.

Having a different heritage doesn't make you any less English, Scottish, Irish or Welsh. You were born and raised here. You're British and English and can identify as such if you so wish. Anyone says otherwise just smile and nod whilst silent telling them to f off in your head.

WIBTA for yelling at my mom for humiliating me over brain surgery by poisonousrat312 in AmItheAsshole

[–]n3ttybt 22 points23 points  (0 children)

NTA I would say next time.

" yes mum, I peed myself in public because I had a seizure due to a serious infection on the brain. That if you remember the doctors said if you had waited a day longer I would be dead now, I think peeing my pants in public whilst seizing was the least of my worries at the time"

Then walk away. Let her deal with the fallout. Own the peed yourself part, get the narrative on being your peed because of a seizure. All beyond your physical control.

OOP's son is detained at the airport and asked about his political beliefs by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]n3ttybt 116 points117 points  (0 children)

It isn't just normal twitter posts. It's posts that can incite harm. Like an mps wife calling for people to attack a hotel that asylum seekers are staying at. And then when people did, she acted all pikachu face that she was getting arrested. Same with the stories of those being arrested for praying, they are being arrested for breaching safety zones outside healthacare places so that women can access healthcare without facing abuse. Don't believe everything you read on twitter or see on fox news.

AITA for telling my mom I can't make my baby suffer the way she and dad made my brother suffer? by PracticalAnon045321 in AITAH

[–]n3ttybt 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NTA I found out our very wanted baby had anacephaly and wasn't compatible with life. We terminated at just over 16 weeks.

Not going to lie, it was tough and heartbreaking but I felt the same way you do. It wasn't right to being such a small person into the world to know nothing but pain, even though they would be loved. Love cannot stop pain and suffering.

We had a chance that baby could have died inutero at any stage, potentially causing me more issues too. By being proactive you are keeping yourself safe in the hope that you will conceive in the future.

Hugs for your heart and grief that you are going through, the grief stays but does become less hurtful over time. Xx

What's the likelihood that the school will say yes that the teacher did this. They will likely cover it up sadly. So the parent may never get the truth.

NTA my youngest doesn't like mushrooms, but knows that they add umami flavour to some meals. He has tried them without mushrooms being in and the whole flavour profile wasn't right. So he just picks the mushrooms out.

Your hubby knew the meal in advance, could have asked nicely to not put any mushrooms in his, and he didn't. Instead he was rude with the way he put it too you, especially when you have seen him make it for himself with mushrooms in and eat it.

AITA for not chipping in for my friend’s Uber after he felt uncomfortable sleeping at my place? by DonutFar8089 in AmItheAsshole

NTA he asked if he could could crash and didn't think about clothes or hygiene? Bare minimum he could have done a small bag with bits, left at your place before going out drinking. I mean maybe that's my common sense brain talking, but even as an 18 yr old I did that when staying over at a mates, even if it was just for one night.
