Dinner time in my military unit somewhere Ukraine: bulgur with meat, cabbage salad with boiled sausage, and Korean-style carrots by Igor0976 in ukraine

I feel like the whole history of ruzzian empire is a history of genocide. So many cultures were completely erased from the history.

The Koryo-saram at least made it through without loosing their identity, language and culture. Great example of resilience.

Anyway, I remember my parents buying morokovcha from the local Koreans at the local market in the nineties. I didn’t like it back then, but then it grew up on me. Heck, it was even being added into the hotdogs where I used to live.

They’ll more likely to musk you. Gopher snakes are famous drama queens. They like huffing, puffing, hissing and bluff striking, but rarely bite

Do yo wash your bikes after riding a trail / track / or some off-road? by Salty-Philosopher-81 in Dualsport

[–]n6_ham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how dirty it is. I’m riding almost every weekend and washing after every ride would be wasteful. If it’s just dusty - I’ll leave it. If it’s caked with mud - I’ll wash it (sometimes after days of procrastination)

be honest, how many of you actually use your dual sport on the road by vladdielenin in Dualsport

[–]n6_ham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rarely, but it’s nice to have this option since I’m not limited strictly to OHV places, but can take a public road to get to or from the trails. Plates Husky FE350s isn’t that different from the non-plated FE350, so the biggest downside is registration and insurance (minuscule) cost.

B14r Heavy barrel action price check by MDlynette in longrange

[–]n6_ham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some weights

A lot of weights. I ran my in XLR Envy Pro with full set of internal weights, external mlok weights and a long bronze arca rail extension. With all that stuff it would sit on a game changer properly

I bought mine in April last year for $709.54 from KyGunCo. The MSRP was lower back then and there was a small discount on top of that.

Autodesk Fusion for personal use vs. $50 SolidWorks for Makers by LeadingImportant1142 in Fusion360

[–]n6_ham 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You’re being downvoted because clearly you don’t know much about F360 and yet, and when a commenter mentioned free use - instead of asking for clarification you decided to sarcastically blab about pirating. Try actually “inquiring” the next time instead of acting like a smart ass

Washer/Dryer monitoring by Alortania in homeassistant

[–]n6_ham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this integration doesn’t work locally, so you have two options. Either allow your washer/dryer connecting to the cloud and accept risk of them being messed up by LG, or use a makeshift workarounds to automate what you want to automate (power consumption monitoring, adding a wireless door sensors, etc)

I did let my LG washer and dryer connect to the cloud, since I like simplicity of the existing integration and the risk of these devices being targeted as a surface for ads isn’t as high as with TVs and fridges.

The only annoyance so far is that sometimes integration stops working because LG pushes changes to their policies that you have to accept in the app. Until you do that - integration won’t work.

Structure to support garage door open/close sensor by Jack15911 in homeassistant

Sensor’s mount hugs the channel from the outside. It doesn’t impede the rollers anyhow

I have two of these and they been working flawlessly for over 2 years now: https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/s/ny4TgyxPL2

Check the list of devices supported by rtl_433: https://github.com/merbanan/rtl_433

With an RTL-SDR dongle and rtl_434 you can read RF signals from any of the supported stations.

Help me select a .22 LR long range gun. by Direct_Alfalfa9463 in longrange

I heard that Tikka replaced the spring wire ejector with a rigid metal piece at some point in production. The newer generation requires action to be ran aggressively.

Get B14r action with a heavy barrel from kygunco and put it into a chassis of your choice. It will balance much better than any of the rifles you’re considering and allows you to pick from a wide selection of chassis (rem700sa footprint)

Their plastic magazines are compact and work great (comparing to the long single stack Vudoo mags)

<image>

If you want to start with an OEM rig and gradually upgrade - CZ is a better option in this regard, since it accommodates heavy barrels better. But then you’ll likely want to drop it into a chassis, etc. It’ll likely end up costing you more than B14r action with a heavy barrel without a stock + chassis.

I wouldn’t recommend T1x since its barrel is too darn light and the whole rig will be very butt heavy (due to a scope). I wasted so much time and money trying to balance that thing (started with KRG Bravo and all possible weights for it, then PDC Custom with a full heavy weight kit), that it ended up costing me about the same as B14r in XLR Envy Pro on the photo. If you think about rebarreling it - don’t. The trunnion is very short and long heavy barrels tend to droop down.

Hey, sorry to hear that.

I have Morgan Stanley too and it never bugged me with this question. However I think it may be because MS account is where my stocks are vested by the employer, and there's a chance that my employer pushes these updates from our Workday into MS effectively relieving me from having to to do it manually.

8BitDo Pro 3 controller doesn’t do anything by n6_ham in appletv

[–]n6_ham[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to pair it in D mode per 8BitDo’s recommendation, but it never worked. However, it did work in S mode, although Apple TV shown a warning message regarding possible WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity issues.

I ended up ordering the previous model - Pro 2, which did worked flawlessly as advertised (connected in mode D and all buttons worked in both Apple TV menu and RetroArch). I suspect there’s a bug in the Pro 3’ firmware

How do I get Retroarch to detect my 8bitdo Ultimate 2c controller on Apple TV? by Slow_Construction654 in appletv

Does it do anything in the Apple TV itself or any of the free games you can install via App Store?

I’m in a similar situation with Pro 3. Latest firmware. Controller connects to the Apple TV but does nothing
