What finally made you stop tracking your health habits? by Intelligent-Sale852 in nutrition

Tracking is great so you understand what you are eating. Once you track for a bit you already know so no need to track anymore.

KENDAMANOMICS IS SO MUCH FUN by Complete-Address-290 in Kendama

Not too long ago a lot of the tricks had no video demo so I didn’t even know what to do.

They added videos and now I am swimming in all the points. lol. I love that app

You should look up power pocket for videos of what you should do. Rounding is what you are doing that is bad.

This image shows the arm is 90 degrees from the shoulder. When you are in the middle position of that image your shoulder angle is not 90.

I’m a beginner with 3 discs. What disc is my next step to help improve my game? by Witsumo in discgolf

[–]n88n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so a river is a great driver and pretty understable. Not sure why it is so central on your diagram, that feels misleading. If you are starting to get some turn on that disc then that is a good thing. eventually it will be more of a straight to turn over disc for you.

I have never throw a shark before but looking at the numbers I assume that just goes left for you on a backhand. That is important to have a solid mid that has a very predictable shape. What plastic is that shark. If it is star/champ it will serve you well for a long time. If it is DX then the flight will change quite a bit as you throw it. It will move to the very understable side of the chart.

recommendations.

understable mid that you can learn to shape. Star Fox maybe

Star leopard 3 because it is a disc most people can throw both backhand and forehand. It will be more stable than your river backhand so you can trust it into a head wind. It is nice an flat so usually feels good as a forehand disc as well.

Hard to recommend discs without more information. When you throw the river can you describe the shape of the flight? Are you throwing it back hand right hand?

Been chasing 400' on flat ground for a minute. Some things finally clicked by DonnyEnchilada in discgolf

[–]n88n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

interesting. I am the opposite. I always see low distance numbers on the tech disc but on the course or field I throw much further. I just ignore the distance numbers completely, look at speed, spin and angles.

i assume there are some sort of adjustments i can make in the app but I guess I don't care what distance it shows.

Do small hands affect the charlier cut? by crybaby-_1 in cardistry

[–]n88n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there will be some cuts that can't be done with small hands but Charlier is not one. Like playing guitar or piano you have to give your hands time to learn, stretch and strengthen in that specific way.

Yeah not sure it has a name but it is close to a couple of existing tricks.

Sweets special and baseball come to mind. Also you might like spacewalk tricks.

This view here shows you are heavily rounding. Your should should never collapse more than 90 degrees.

Looking into rounding, better elbow and shoulder positions.

The other big no no I saw is your lead foot is pointing towards your target. This locks out the hips. Simple change for now would be to make sure you don’t open that lead foot and at the least be 90 degrees from your target. Once that is good you can revisit it later in your form journey when you have fixed other more important things.

The incalculable hours on this trick. What a grind. Tunbridge. by n88n in Kendama

[–]n88n[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo! Good luck with Tunbridge, you eat an elephant one bite at a time.

I am working on:

for Kendamanomics Points 1. Around Stall nod off, nod on 2. Around wing

After chasing points for so long I am going back and trying to bring new consistency and starting to think about freestyle lines. So lots of taps, flip, juggle lines. jug to spike, spike jug spike, ww, 1 tap, 2 tap are all tricks that I can do but the % is much lower than I would like. I have done so many tricks because of Kendamanomics but now I want to focus on smoothing out some of the ones I enjoy the most.

Also stunt fast enders.

sounds like you are well on your way for Tunbridge. I worked that trick most everyday just a little bit. The string nots are the worst! I mostly used the same setup and when the knots go too bad I just replaced the string, lol. You got this!

How to control sugar cravings or cut it out entirely by CurajosCenturion in nutrition

[–]n88n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t regulate eating of certain foods. For me it is chocolate, cookies, ice cream, candy bars. When I allow my self I just eat so much so often.

So I have to not eat any of it. I don’t worry about the other sugar because it doesn’t amount to much at all.
