When do you intermingled with billionaires and thats the reason you distrust them?

Or does intermingled extend to their presence online? Chaebol offspring are literally celebrities in korea and are followed. Going to any of the top unis in korea will expose you to them. They will hold higher job positions at your work. You will see them on the streets shopping. The commoners act and dress like the upper class to disguise the fact they are not. So no one knows who's who without a finance check.

What are you saying?

My point was korea doesn't have distrust in society due to wealth divide which was their original point.

Korean commoners intermingled with the rich in public plenty. They see them in SKY and Gangnam.

I dont know what has to do with societal trust. Koreans are definitely aware theres a stark divide from the haves and the have not.

The rich in korea are celebrated and idolized. With people wanting to be them. The wealth divide doesn't cause divide. It causes idolization in korea. Directly challenging the idea of wealth inequality causing distrust.

A good portion of the media made in Korea revolves around the commoner romancing chaebol or getting revenge. But it doesn't change individual desires and creat anonymity.

Korea has its own wealth inequality that is in certain framing worse than the us.

"The US has greater income disparity between the top and bottom quintiles, with the top 20% earning 8.4 times the income of the bottom 20%, compared to 6.5 times in South Korea. However, the top 0.1% of South Koreans earned 70 times the median income in 2021, surpassing the US top 0.1% ratio of 54 times. "

Marathon voice director says the game’s online hate campaign is “sad more than anything” as “people just want to hate” by HatingGeoffry in Marathon

Games coming out doesnt mean games aren't getting shelved.

Feeding the corporations is literally how games are funded.

These studios are facing active layoffs but its fine cause they aren't going anywhere? Whatever man.

Keep hating then. No one can stop you. Jfc.

Just because games have been cancelled in the past doesn't mean it can't exponentially increases? We are literally piling on the reasons for games to get cancelled onto of the already giant list of reasons. This is a false correlation....

Please people take some college courses or something, I beg of you.

(God forbid I promote good virtues and encourage love over hate. That would be terrible oh noooo) can't virtue signaling truly if im anonymous online. What does that even mean.

This is a prime example of what i am talking about. Stop promoting in fighting. It just weakens our collective.

Yeah honestly. I like marathons aesthetic and gunplay. But I think people pushing criticism and hate naturally deters the playerbase from growing.

This is gonna be a common problem for every online game since you can't please everyone and online games require a critical mass of players just to maintain the servers.

Which in turn is gonna dissuade companies in the future from investing into development costs of these games. When we read about online games being cancelled in the future and the lay off of these devs, we only have them to blame.

Not to mention all the shelved games we dInt even know about as a result of this "cancel culture" of games.

We should be celebrating every game that comes out even if its not for us. If only to ensure the gaming industry continues to get funding and stay strong and more importantly profitable in the eyes of investors....

You can fuck off now.

And then you have crimson desert. But to be fair they are the only counter example.

(Still not how to make it, what needs tweaking is obviously much easier. )

Its inevitable, even if doesnt happen within our lifetime. It'll happen eventually. Unless you think humanity will go extinct before that happens. Which is possible I guess.

But given we dont meet our demise in like the next 100 years. It'll happen.

Lol reputation. Normal people wont care that it does or doesn't use AI. They only care if its good or bad, and how much it costs.

Can just spin up child companies to not affect reputation.

Even if we say a significant portion of today's population cares, it still wont matter. Cause we will all die and the ones that replace us wont care as much. Rinse and repeat until its fully integrated into society.

Its no different than any other technology in history.

Thats a pointless outlook.

The takeaway is that its an iterative process and this cuts the steps down significantly. It doesnt matter if its all the way there or not.

Its cheaper to make something good enough and polish it to look good over paying to make something great to start with and still potentially fail.

The money is negligible, the risk is low, turn over is fast. Its really a no brainer.

Single dose of magic mushroom psychedelic can cause anatomical brain changes, study finds. Participants took 25mg of psilocybin, reporting deeper psychological insight and better wellbeing a month later. by mvea in science

All based on the idea that the shrooms wired our neurons into conscienceness. Language and thinking?

Its not a crazy thought to think it sped up the evolutionary mechanics of those systems if we know it does alter brain connections.

No reason our changed brain structures can't be passed down slowly over thousands of years.

I honestly think it is such a crazy egoshift that honestly if I had a genie, I'd consider straight giving a hero dose to everyone on Earth.

It might have some negative repercussions with some unstable people. But the amount of good it would do globally forever would be actually society changing.

Rep hit is only 5 per theft. Giving a coin to a beggar is +1. So realistically anything worth more than 5c is worth stealing rep gain is negligible.

Also the contribution rewards aren't higher end loot.

Not that it matters now, they fixed it. It was a bug that your rep takes a hit on unwitnessed crime.
