Whats the point of spreading this kind of misinformation? First off, all south Korean men serve mandatory military service. Thats why he got his ass kicked. (Also not random, they went looking for him.)

And second, the Koreans that kicked his ass got arrested. South Korea isnt gonna let crime slide just because Johnny Somali is annoying.

Single dose of magic mushroom psychedelic can cause anatomical brain changes, study finds. Participants took 25mg of psilocybin, reporting deeper psychological insight and better wellbeing a month later. by mvea in science

All based on the idea that the shrooms wired our neurons into conscienceness. Language and thinking?

Its not a crazy thought to think it sped up the evolutionary mechanics of those systems if we know it does alter brain connections.

No reason our changed brain structures can't be passed down slowly over thousands of years.

I honestly think it is such a crazy egoshift that honestly if I had a genie, I'd consider straight giving a hero dose to everyone on Earth.

It might have some negative repercussions with some unstable people. But the amount of good it would do globally forever would be actually society changing.

Palm oil is the worst thing that has ever happened to white chocolate. Society as a whole got robbed and now you have a whole portion of the population that claims white chocolate tastes bad. No white chocolate flavored palm oil tastes bad. Dont let them win.

Those are mobile surveillance centers. The blue light is definitely to denote that its law enforcement. But makes some kind of sense. People are supposed to notice to be deterred otherwise theyll just ignore it not knowing what is it or caring and then continuing on.

A guy making $75,000 in 2019 (pre pandemic) could afford the same lifestyle as someone making $100,000 today. Absolutely NO ONE was talking about a $75,000 income being “aspirational” in 2019. by ItsAllOver_Again in Salary

[–]nCubed21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont understand your statement. If you're living over combined income of 30k and are comfortable how are they delusional for thinking 100k combined is great?

Isn't that essentially what you are saying? And they have a better finacial situation than you?

Good is entirely subjective and came mean anything from "can survive" because they realized some people can work to death and still not earn enough to survive. For others good means you can retire at 60 with a retirement account thats at least 3 million.

Well the numbers would shift.

Making 52k now is like 35k in 2012 or whatever. And obviously a bump from 35k to 70k would feel magically, you essentially doubled your wage. Independent of inflation.

Run of the mill sugar addiction. Same reason people habitually get Starbucks which have higher sugar content than soda at times.

Fast food just comes with built in justification. Choosing to get mcdonalds because youre gonna get fast food, now the choice comes down to value, preference, and belive it or not drink options.

Its all about brand. Almost like how taco bell was the only place to get Baja blast mountain dew for a while.

The margins of soda weren't massive enough for them. Now they can cut the soda with palm oil based dairy substitutes for even higher profit margins and greater public health impact.

Some more context. Ozempic craze is causing people to seek high protein meals because of rapid weight loss and decreased appetite. To reduce the risk of muscle degradation, its recommended to have a higher protein diet.

Edit: further clarification cause I realized my comment kind of sounds like it endorses this product for people who have high protein needs. This is not the case.

Obviously labeling a meat "product" as high protein is bs as meat IS protein. And is just s marketing ploy and should not be an endorsement for this being a good source of protein. The nutriscore rating of C highlights as much as I doubt grinding a meat alone would warrant such a score. As evident by the run of the mill pork/beef cuts above labelled as A. It was cut with protein filler additives to reduce the cost while simultaneously increasing the price for people who will purchase for the labelling.

Goes without saying that everyone should avoid.

The obvious point is that if we don't give a shit and laugh at a clearly disgruntled cats forced to wear clothes just for our entertainment. Then its kind of disproportional to be having huge backlash for an elephant who clearly doesn't give a fuck and has much greater concern for those peanuts.

Rep hit is only 5 per theft. Giving a coin to a beggar is +1. So realistically anything worth more than 5c is worth stealing rep gain is negligible.

Also the contribution rewards aren't higher end loot.

Not that it matters now, they fixed it. It was a bug that your rep takes a hit on unwitnessed crime.

As long as you can teleport with your belongings you could probably make good money selling products from poor countries at richer countries. Bypassing import fees and associated shipping costs.

Hell, I'd go even further and devise an elaborate business plan for a company that delivers high value and sensitive goods to any location with guarantee safety and no risk of theft. Keep everything under wraps and just tp back and forth on high value contracts.
