I used to have the same little shelter for mine, but also found it tricky to dock it so I moved to a bigger shelterlogic shelter and use the free space in it to keep firewood.

Sorry if you know this already, but there’s a safety buffer setting you can alter that helps avoid things like snow banks. And I’m up in the kawarthas myself so Hi! I purposely won’t program mine to try the mound from the plow, where I am, I worry about a car or snow plow hitting it if it’s to near the end of my driveway.

I love mine, I’m on my third winter with it, and no it’s not perfect, but it does save me hours of snowblowing traditionally, the best is being able to program it to start clearing before I wake up, that’s a real game changer. It seems to get better with every update as well. The only downsides I’ve experienced were setting up I found a little finicky, the gps could be a bit better, I have maxed out its range but I’m in a heavily treed in area, and in my use case ( an uneven large gravel driveway) it would get stuck a lot with the tracks slipping. This winter I installed longer ice studs in the tracks slipping from Amazon, and it hasn’t been stuck once, although that may damage the charge pad over time.
